Haha, yep.

But yeah, I have a good feeling about Fils.

Have you seen Van Assche play? I haven't, but am curious what sort of game he has and if he should be considered in the same category as Fils.
I've only seen him a bit, but I am inclined to put him in that category. Especially with his cracker-jack win today. Maybe there are some Next Gen Frenchmen who are, like other youngsters, ready to break open the ATP. They don't want Alcaraz and Rune to be the only ones.

He was on fire! Absolutely captivating. Enjoy.

Thanks, Nehmeth,
He plays smart tennis for his age, takes the ball on early, moves his opponents around the court well, chooses the right moment to strike, nice bhand as well, wasnt he a RG junior champion if my memory is correct? interested to watch his progress. what I like about the French Tennis Federation, is they always teach their juniors solid technique on their shots.

Looks like Seyboth is Wild only at home (domestic violence charges against him), but on the court he is calm against Daniil.

He failed to stick the dismount in the TB there, and basically gifted Medvedev the set. He's a Brazilian that's been on the radar vaguely, for a long time.
Po thang. That was an utter collapse w/ all those errors at the end. I hope he can recover from that disappointment. This is an intriguing match

Well, he gave up the break straight away, so we'll see. Annacone says that these balls don't do much for Meddie's flat ball striking, so maybe he is right to complain about them.

UPDATE: Medvedev gives the break back.

That was as close as it gets to lead 2:0. FH abandoned him in crucial moments.

Meddy has a nose bleed? trainer out, I think the dust is not good for the nose as well
Meddy to serve for the 3rd set 5-2, at least he seems okay in the wind, it is swirling around, 6-2 3rd set
Meddy up 2 sets to 1,

Who is this Vavassori who upset Kecmanovic in 5? My Tv only showed the 5th set TB.

Meddy has to watch himself, Seyboth now has a 3-0 lead in the 4th set, momentum change,

Meddy has decided to 'switch back on' after having a dip early in the 4th set
Meddy breaks back to love,
Back on serve in the 4th set

And the Brazilian made a bad choice on the 0-40 break point...that ball was surely going wide, he played it anyway, and bricked it into the net. Maybe we know one reason this "Wild Child" isn't ranked higher? He certainly makes poor choices in big moments.
