Huh? Did someone actually pick Fils to win the FO?Sucks for the person who picked Fils to win the FO, but Fils was a bit overhyped, while Fokina was severely underrated. Fokina will beat Djokovic and make a deep run at the FO.
Why there you have it why your guy Felix AA can’t push through, he’s FRENCH Canadian, just a variety of the Gallic Genus. ; )Huh? Did someone actually pick Fils to win the FO?
Anyhow, I don't see him as over hyped, though I don't watch the tennis channel so don't know what they're saying. But he's definitely a talented young player with a lot of potential, and there are inklings of him starting to make a move. I see him as at least a future 2nd tier type. Hard to predict beyond that until we see him reach peak form.
His main problem is that he's French.
Fils reached a career high when he won the tournament the other day he is now ranked No 63 not bad for the youngsterHuh? Did someone actually pick Fils to win the FO?

It was a tricky 1st round match and smelled like trouble for Struff. He plays better as an underdog.Don Fabio,
I see my selection of Struff winning his section was wrong lol! Struff got Stuffed by Lehecka in 5 sets
I should have stayed with Jarry
Agree, I picked Struff going on his good form of late and his best results in a major have come at RG,It was a tricky 1st round match and smelled like trouble for Struff. He plays better as an underdog.
He is playing well and probably likes his chances in a part of the draw without Alcaraz and Djokovic. He lost against Rafa I think 2 times in RG, so he doesn't need to worry about that either this year.Sinner Forza! 1st set 61 over Muller
Well I expect him to win this match he is now up 4-0 in the 3rd set, he has been having physical problems of late, that is why at RG I dont think he will go deep, though he could surprise me lol!He is playing well and probably likes his chances in a part of the draw without Alcaraz and Djokovic. FAA is going to take a couple week break, heal up, and then win Wimbledon.
Mark my words.
I did see him lurking there, but I figured he was too young too go through. Good for him! Allez les Bleus!Speaking of young French studs, Van Assche tore Cecchinato a new one. 6-1, 6-1, 6-3.
The French deserve the razzing that they get, but I do think Fils could be a bit of the real deal. He doesn't play like a Frenchman, if you know what I mean? Pretty willing to be aggressive, from what I've seen.Huh? Did someone actually pick Fils to win the FO?

On top of that, he's Canadian...too nice. Gonna be hard to unearth a killer instinct from under all of that French ennui and Canadian cordiality. Why there you have it why your guy Felix AA can’t push through, he’s FRENCH Canadian, just a variety of the Gallic Genus. ; )
