I am not watching it, but it looks like Andy is all business today.

It really does look that way and I can't understand why Andy isn't all business every time he is on the court?

He is up 2-0 in the 3rd Set now. Maybe that 5 Setter woke him up :snigger

Murray is playing a very smart tennis match right now. He is showing on why he is a two time Grand Slam winner. By the way, Verdasco is not playing bad either. It just Murray showing unbelievable defensive skills and being aggressive from the baseline.

I just wish Murray shows this type of aggressiveness throughout the year and in every surface.

Gave up watching Murray v Fiasco 'cos it's impossible to tell who's who except one goes EEEEEEEEEE after every shot. Disaster when both guys wear almost 100% the same outfit.

Hope Monfils stops clowning around now and gets his ranking back up. He went downhill fast after reaching world number 7 before but clearly has the ability to be right up there. Too many injuries thanks to insane and usually totally unnecessary (though highly entertaining) suicidal jumps around the court.

For the love of god Andy

He is completely complicating this match. Was up 4-2 in the 3rd, now has to hold to get to a TB.

Congrats to Murray. Not a great TB by Fiasco but hey that's why he's earned that nick (c) JLLB. Nice to see such respect at the net afterwards.

Fantastic win for Murray. I'm glad he won, and got through in straight sets. The last thing he needed was another 12-10 in the fifth.

That's my boy. There is reason why the h2h is now 10-1. Too much focus on the surface. Now for Monfils and a match on Chatrier. Better late than never.

It's appalling they haven't put him on Chatrier.

^ Not really, he is low ranked now after all (not that it will last mind you) and has done nothing on clay his entire career.

While Andy is by no means an incompetent on clay, he is really a different tier from other top guys when it comes to clay. I am not sure how beating verdasco, and surviving a 6 setter against Kohlschreiber vindicates his clay court prowess. I don't think any body argues Andy isn't at least top 20 on the surface, and definitely a mentally strong player on any surface.
