I really look forward to Verdasco vs. Murray. I still remember Wimbledon last year when Verdasco coughed up a 2-0 set lead. I reckon it'll be close -- might possibly go 5, depending on which type of Fernando shows up.

Wondering if the undisciplined Monfils will survive GGL.

Anderson's run comes to an end with Ferrer

I think Verdasco may take out Murray though.

Fernando has achieved a QF run in all the other 3 slams but here, and he is more accomplished on clay in fact, with title at Barcelona and a final at MC.
You never know how he will play, but he had a good run here with a fighting sipirit, I hope he can take it one step further in RG.

Nadal in straights, Ferrer in straights, Murray in four, god knows what Monfils will bring, I think that match could go the distance.

I'm betting not much. He barely got through the Fognini match. I don't see him winning another.

This could get away from Lajovic quickly. In the opening two games, he won one point.

Anderson just won a third-set tiebreak, after losing the first two sets.

Lajovic hitting some decent shots but letting the fact that it's Rafa get in his head. That forehand on top of the net he missed was dreadful. This result was never exactly up in the air either way.

Rafa seems to be in great form and the Serb is making too many mistakes.

First set to Rafa 6-1

Remember back in the days when Nadal fans would moan about Roger getting a cupcake draw? :snigger

Never seen this guy play before. He's not bad actually. Trying to do the right things, but it's a devil to do them right on clay against Rafa. At least he has a more coherent strategy that old Rog yesterday!
