I love Lucie, but I won't bee-lieve it until she's shaking the umpire's hand. Anybody remember last year's AO where she was up MP on Li in the 2nd set and lost that match?

Yeah, I am taking a wait and see attitude, but she would be wise to stay aggressive and alert this set.

At the very least at least Lucie gets to serve first if she can hold she will have the ahead mentality.

Agreed, never paid attention to this woman but she needs to keep her focus because Pova isn't dialed in

Lucie has all the tools, a great lefty serve, solid groundies, good movement and she's an excellent doubles player w/ BMS. What she's missing is between her ears. She gets very tight when the match is on the line and usually collapses. Sounds familiar doesn't it?

Yes KS, sounds very familiar. The days of the supreme mentally strong players like Graf and Seles have long passed, those two just didn't allow lower ranked players game to dictate theirs, . Today we have only Serena but who knows which Serena is gonna show up when the opponent isn't named Sharapova. It would be a shame to if Pova is struggling or may loose and Serena let Sloane steal a victory.IMO

Lucie is fighting! Good for her. Who knows what Serena will do, but hopefully, she comes out ready to play because she is tired of three setters, lol.

Sweet. Only watched the end but what play by Safarova. No more horrible stares from Sharapova this Roland Garros. Today is a good day.

This is a prime time for anyone not named Serena who is left in the draw. Looks at Ivanovic and Kvitova. However, I want a Serena RG 15 victory.

Wow I'm so impressed. With Serena still vulnerable this is a big big opportunity. If kvitova can keep moving this is her shot.

Scream Queen is gone!

Nah, KS and all of us Chicagoans say it this way from the words of Ken Hawk Harrleson, Pova, "She Gone!" :clap
