One of the commentators on the stream I'm watching says they've measured socks RPMs and they're almost as high as Nadal's.

Yep, Jim Courier has talked about it a lot. He even showed graphs comparing Rafa's, Sock's, and Federer's speed, spin, and bounce.

That's a lovely one! I am a huge fan of Diplodocus, they are my favourite dinosaurs, just after the Stegosaurus. But I am not sure they use two handed back-hands...

Good Job by Sock. He certainly played good considering this is his first match against Rafa.

Rafa's movement seems to have improved. It is definitely better than it was in Rome.
It just is not going to be easy for Novak, although he will get it done this time.

Nadal needs a drastic improvement in his serving (which won't happen) before we entertain the possibility of him beating Novak. If he serves well it will be a match, naturally, but Novak will ultimately prevail.

Rafa/Sock is over, Novak is serving for the match, and the Tennis Channel is STILL not showing him.

Maybe Novak is already thinking about the Rafa match. Either way, this is not an impressive way to close the match out :nono. Hope he gets his game face on in the big match

Ajde, Nole. Off the court in 3, now time to rest and prepare for one of the most important matches of your career. Wednesday will be huge!

I think Novak was just trying to conserve energy and do the bare minimum to save all his energy in the QF. There was really no point in bringing the A game against Reeeeechard.
