He plays Gulbis next they said. That could be entertaining if Bagnis can recover physically.

Ernie is through in four... proving to be a better choice than Nishikori. :snigger.

How is Petito doing?

Stan is playing downright awful. 50 errors in 3 sets.

But, they will only play one more set today. If Stan can stay in the fight, he can come back
and win tomorrow.

I figured GGL might give him a tough first round. Looks like he might just get him. I can only watch intermittent scores today. Thanks for the live commentary on Benneteau, btw. Shame he lost that one.

Then proceeds to dump serve in the opening game of the 4th. He's really sliding fast.

Wild play by Stan. To be fair, it's pretty cool that Bagnis won his first slam match he everplayed in a super long 5th set.

GGL breaks to begin the 3rd set. Wawrinka might have to go home early at this rate.
Not much time left to right the ship.

Yep. He kept Novak out there playing in MC with heavy conditions and a bad wrist. He doesn't give up.

To be fair, all he has to do is get the ball court and stan quickly makes an error.

Stan doesn't look dug in to make a match of this. I think he goes down tonight in 4.

:puzzled Are you trying to say that Stan doesn't handle success well?
