Maybe people will stop talking about his fitness now.

or maybe they'll talk about his fitness in another way, the opposite to what they have been doing? Then again, maybe not because sometimes people only see what they want to see & don't admit they were wrong because they don't want to admit they were wrong.

Zverev seems determined on making this tournament exciting.

Honestly, it depends. If he's completely gassed in the QF and gets his clock cleaned, while understandable, it would still be an indictment of his fitness.

I think Djokovic and Thiem will make for a great semi finals, and Nadal will have his hands full in the final.

I saw the 5th set of Zverev and it looked like he had plenty left in the tank. The QF with Dominator should be interesting. I'd tip either of them to make the final.

I saw the Kachanov Zverev match. Zverev has developed a very solid game, and that it what making him progress. As it happened in Lajovic match, he was outplayed for the most part, but capitalized when the other player got tight. Not that he played poorly, he played well, but it was the other guy drop of level and that won him this both matches (I could not get the Dzumhur one, so about this I cannot say). I guess the moment he runs in to a guy who won't get cold feet, he is cooked.

Great vid from the ATP to Rafa

I have a feeling that Thiem is just going to smoke Zverev in the quarters...I may be wrong of course.

Stat guys, help needed here. Has anyone ever won a slam with all his matches being 5 setters? What is the most amount of 5 setters played by a player on his way to the title?

Highly doubt that's happened. I feel like I heard sometime recently that someone won 4 five setters to win a major.

I thought he'd beat Sascha in Madrid too so who knows. RG is definitely a better clay court for Thiem so I would expect him to win.

These three games are longer than one whole set, if they keep playing like this they are going to leave the court in a gurney unless Verdasco would start mentally to fall down as he uses to do

Hey Darth.. HBO is doing a special on the Greatest match ever played.. Wimbledon 08..I doubt that we will hear your voice as providing commentary to that documentary,,
I just saw a promo on TC. They're billing it as the "never-before told story of the legendary rivalry" betw. fedal. Never-before told??!! Wow...they're not reading our forums. Also, not to put too fine a point on it, but it's based on Wertheim's book, so at least he told it once before. :lulz2:

Today from 12 to 3, NBC is broadcasting RG live. I thought finally I will get to watch it in old fashioned TV. Alas, my local channel that carries NBC decided to telecast Children's Miracle Network's fund raising telethon instead. This RG is definitely marks the least amount of time I spent watching live matches.
