Can anyone remember the last time you watched a tiebreak when the first 7 points went against serve? That was unreal.
No and quite frankly I dont want to have to watch another match like we did just a moment ago lol!

Coco please go and practice your serve for the rest of the day.........thanks
She needs a serving consultant to teach her how to clear her mind when serving during situations. e.g. when to serve Flat, kick, spin and serve n volley/combo .

When I am down 15-40. I will serve hard slice and hard kicker or spin serves plus come in behind. if I am up 15-0 and above I will serve my flat serve but not all the time because I dont wont my opponents to "time" my serves. Its different levels to be a great server. You have to be a server with a mentality like a major league pitcher. I think @Fiero425 has been in these situations before.

I dont know if pressure gets to Coco on her serve at times, her 2nd serve needs attention ASAP, I have been saying that for ages
I agree with your thoughts a serving coach at this stage would be helpful....see I can agree with you at times :)
I also think she needs another coach now, not her parents

I have found this probably has been the number 1 issue in players developing both on the WTA and ATP. Once you find some level of consistency or breakthrough, it is very important to consider your team and whether those components need to stay the same or change in order to progress. I feel so many players don’t make those team adjustments in a timely manner and waste months and years.

No 2 seed Kontaveit bows out in her 1st rd match to Swiss Jil Teichmann, who can be a tough player to beat 64 64
Kontaveit to me has not been the same player since she parted ways with Tursnov, who now coaches Emma Raducanu

Another retirement,
Q. Zheng wins by retirement from the 5th seed Ons Jabeur 61 2-1
Ons official reason for retirement 'abdominal pain"

This is the wrong matchup for Serena. She's likely heading to Cinci tomorrow. BB won't make many errors and right now, Serena needs some donations.

Bencic is playing like she about to win a slam.I have never liked her even if she wins this match she will never reach Serena 's level of success ever.I didn't like how she behaved after beating Serena in Toronto 2015.I guess she thought she was going to win the Open that year and seven years later she is still waiting.

Serena's ground shots are all over the place....though she gets her 1st BP, that was snuffed out by Bencic

@tossip Everyone raises their game for Serena. Belinda is no different. It was probably the biggest win of her career. I won't begrudge her that. I'm not a fan because I don't like her on court attitude. She gets really sulky when she's not winning like she should be able to beat every person on the other side. While I think she's good, she's not that good that every match is on her racquet.

Bencic's serve can go off and she loses concentration, Serena has to attack the 2nd serve of Bencic, which is attackable

Another good service game, she has it dialed in
Lets see if Bencic can break her, first Serena needs to break Bencic
