Agree, any decent returner would have defeated her with that serve for starters/Again, just like last week I'm trying to figure out how Halep made it to the final let alone won it w/ those poor serving numbers.
Puhleeze. Look what happened to Kasatkina this week. Soon as she faced someone who gave her serve the treatment it deserved, she was out in the first round. All this win does is give her false confidence. She has major problems that need rectifying if she wants to beat 127 other ladies.Agree, any decent returner would have defeated her with that serve for starters/
BTW my commies now think she can win the USO....
They're saying that because Iga is not dominant right now since she's stumbled a bit this summer. If she was still whooping folks, it would be her alone and everyone else would be picking up the scraps.I noticed that even Jon W from SI said Halep was now one of the favs to win the USO?
Please we have a long way to go...Cinncy for starters
If he's not w/ her, then they can't work on that serve. Meaning someone will dismiss her rather early.I noticed that even Jon W from SI said Halep was now one of the favs to win the USO?
Please we have a long way to go...Cinncy for starters
Apparently Patrick M wont be with Simona in Cinncy because of his kids.
Agree, I honestly feel the USO is wide open, anyway lets see what happens in Cinncy first. They're saying that because Iga is not dominant right now since she's stumbled a bit this summer. If she was still whooping folks, it would be her alone and everyone else would be picking up the scraps.
Congratulations are in order for Coco Gauff she is now the No 1 ranked Doubles player, Jess and Coco are the Doubles Champions in Toronto winning 64 67(5) 10-5 against their opponents N.M.Martinez/ E.Perez.So, in winning the doubles with Pegula, Coco becomes the youngest #1 in doubles since Hingis. I guess I haven't been paying attention, because I didn't even know that was on the cards. I'm sure #1 in singles is in her future, too.
