Bad forecast by those in the TV studio. The players were let on court now.

Brad Gilbert is a terrible tennis analyst.

We have a better one working for the Canadian broadcast, Jimmy Arias.
I like him.

I find Arias annoying, and I really like Gilbert. Funny...different tastes.

Karen is not a pushover.

We measure Karen by how long he can keep Ralph on court.

> 3 hours --- excellent
2.5 to 3 hours --- very good
2 to 2.5 hours --- good
1.5 to 2 hours --- average
1.0 - 1.5 --- fair
< 1 hr --- poor

He's similar to Rublev. Too erratic to cause Nadal any real problems. I like him though, as much as I can like a total ballbasher and I am curious to see how much upside he has.

He is an incomplete player or work in progress. I cannot believe he does not know that if he gets a short ball he has to move forward for an easier put away shot.

Nice hold by Karen in a difficult game.

But, he caused it as he missed two sitters early on in the game.

I feel Karen will surely break back and bring it to even soon.

The trouble is that is not enough to make Rafa tired for the final.

I have not seen much of K before. I think among the current ATP players (independent of gens), the designation of "ball basher" surely belongs to him more than any other player. However, interestingly even on bashable balls, he converts only about 2 out of 3 on average. The other 1, he gets excited and misses it.

Sorry, KK didn't take Rafa's legs out for you.

I've found Khachanov uninspiring, so far. He'll go so far in a tournament, then not do much. He's in the mix, but doesn't really distinguish himself. Troubled Rafa a bit today, but not surprising it only went so far. Cilic was a much rougher round, on paper and in reality.

Easy match for the twat. Didn't really expect otherwise.

I think he has too much for Perseus right now on a surface like this. He can outlast him and grind out a win but he can also push Stefanos around.

I told you even before the QF had begun that SF is a no-brainer for Rafa. You did not quite understand, but probably now realize it.

I wasn't actually paying any attention to what you said.
