The once great Sepultura are from your home town :) I say once great 'cos for me that band were never the same after Max Cavalera left. The Cavalera era stuff was classic though \m/

And here's some more Brazilian stuff I'm sure you've heard before and this video showcases some of the best things about your country too :)

Agree about Sepultura. I can see what they tried to do afterwards, and sources within the band say that it was impossible for Cavalera to stay.

The video is interesting (and no, I haven't heard it before). Images are 90% from Rio. It is impossible to have, or give, a good picture of what Brazil is like. Every time I try to answer something about it I give up, and realize that even myself don't know the country I live in. All I can tell you is this: You can find everything here.

By the way, women here are in fact prettier than what the video shows. And you know what? Some of them are very smart too. Put a few more attractive features and there's my wife! Thanks for reminding me why I like my country!

LOL I remembered you're Paulista and knew you'd explode when Billie asked you about Karioke tournament.

So, how's thing with the zika virus they talk about on tv. I imagine that is like they talked about sars, birth flue, pig flue, mad cow and all the other things that were supposed to finish humanity, but nothing happened except that those viruses are long forgotten.

Rafa's draw is open to the final I think. They even placed Thiem i Ferrer's half.

What drives the paulistas crazy is that fact that Rio is indeed fantastic, in some senses at least.

The Zika virus is serious, but you are right. I don't need to think about it on my day to day life. It is transmitted by the same mosquito that transmits Dengue (which is a very common disease here, which is basically a severe flu, and can occasionally kill), and what is making people worried is the supposed correlation with microcephaly in kids. If you come here, odds are low that you get any of these, anyway (in Rio, you'll probably just get robbed). On the other hand, my plans to have a child are on hold...

I know some people from Brasil, nice people and I love how they speak Portuguese more than the ones from Portugal

You're lucky... and thanks for the kind words.

Not sure on the time, but he's on after the Dolgo/Bellucci (currently in progress) and Tsonga/Monteiro are finished.

Dolgopolov just beat the Brazilian in 3 sets. So Rafa is next? Great, I have that on my TV.:good:

They will have a short ceremony in honor of Guga and renaming the central court. I love Guga!!!:yahoo:

Oh a Fabio win, how unusual.:D

It seems like it. We've had only handful of really cold days so far, which is really unusual. It's currently -3 C only, warm.:yahoo:

Sadly I don't think Rafa will be able to finish his match, it's already 11:17 pm there.

As far as I can see only Rafa and Tsonga are yet to finish their 1st round matches. Tsonga didn't even start.

I hope they can finish today :-)2

That would be the best. Rafa needs only 4 more games, as he is up a break.

I have him on my TV, Delpo online streaming, and commenting here. Talk about multitasking :D
