Bellucci can play for sure... he just rarely strings it together for long enough.

Cuevas had a really solid start to the year before petering out a bit. I was expecting more from him during the European clay swing.

they were commentating that PABLO has had a bit of setbacks in injuries. too bad -- because he plays nice.

bellucci always had that potential indeed. this looks like he REALLY is stringing together some really good tennis .
this is the part of tennis -- the one ''outside of the famous biggest names" that is so nice also --

we get to appreciate the other talents -- and see PLENTY of well-fought matches!

now cuevas keeps his nose ahead to try and make this a set all.

Nadal & Lopez are a set up... on course to head to the doubles semis.

good for them! so long as nadal , for his side, is sure he's fine with his wrist.it should be ok. he's got plenty in the tank, it seems. and he'll get his own day rest too.

Just started watching, beyond live scores, and comments here. I expected a response from Pablo. I fully expected this to go 3. We'll see. That was some point there.

IT'S EXCITING! BOTH PLAYERS coming up with really nice shots.
bellucci survived to keep close behind pablo's break of serve..now pablo has to keep his break of serve intact!

Wow! Tight there at the end, but Bellucci won it for the home crowd. Nice job.

It's really hard to get good intel, but I think the men's doubles SF is set: USA v. Romania, Spain v. Canada.

He's playing mixed tomorrow, too? OK, that is a bit crazy. I'm glad if he's having fun, but he'd better not push it with the wrist. Since Garbiñe doesn't seem to be in top shape, I would hope they could consider dropping that, because it does go beyond the level of just a hit-around to play that much in one day.

haha -- johnny mac is always going to be controversial . lol.

one of his famous sayings:
at the top of his career then - he got beaten by BRAD GILBERT -- who we all know made a name for himself as a top coach - especially from attaching himself to ANDRE AGASSI in the 1990's. AND OTHERS later, like ANDY MURRAY, ANDY RODDICK, right? (i noticed , usually just when the players were -- imo -- READY to win a major - andsomehow brfad gets that credit) -

anyway -- brad was never that good or talented a player anyway -- the one that used to be known as ''DINKY SHOTS" -- ''garbage shots" -

u know -- PUSHER ..or someone that just basically gets all the momentum from the OTHER person? lol.

and after getting beaten - Mc was so furious he said:

"i HAVE MORE talent in my little finger than HE has in ALL his body"!! annoying and insulting of course -- but -- let's face it - TRUE.

hehe.

I suppose you're right. I just see him as manipulative.

He's a bag of contradictions - that's for sure. Blows with the wind of the occasion... - anyone wins an event and they are proclaimed a GOAT or mid-match dishing out superlatives like hot cakes. He's like a travelling salesman.
