Agreed, he has his mind on winning the gold medal for his boyfriend

And that's extraordinary how he is helping Lopez to win his first GM. I think he knew that he wasn't ready for the singles but maybe it could be easier to win the doubles and that's exactly his main purpose besides it would be his second Olympic GM. I don't think that many players would do something like that, no way!

Okay Miss Carol.. my wifey told me to be Nice to Mr Rafa.. she saw Marc Lopez come over to Rafa who was sitting in his chair and give him a brotherly kiss on the forehead.. she says there isn't anything wrong with that.. So I will not make fun of Rafa's emotions anymore.

I'm glad that your wife has opened your mind :cool: and wait to see more if they would win this match......:lolz: VAMOS!!!!!!!!!!

What a completely useless pr1ck Monfils is. Even when 4-0 up in that TB I just knew he'd lose.

It's a darn shame that the FIRE doesn't burn to fiercely within Gael:nono..I think he blew the biggest opportunity of his career..what a waste

Totally :mad::nono

I don't know who is going to win the third set but I know that Rafa tomorrow won't have too much gas in the tank :cover

He has to play only one match tomorrow and so will give all he got. But, I hope he loses though.

"Thank you' for your "wishes" :ras: but don't worry, he probably will lose because it does't matter if he will play just one match but how many has played already

Doubles isn't physically demanding at all so he'll be perfectly fine for singles. These singles matches are all best of 3 till the final.

Exactly. I doubt he's spent a minute in practice, this is all good fun, he'll enjoy himself tomorrow against Deep Heat, come what may...

It's not just about physical demanding, also its how many pressure, hours on court and exciting to win

What a lengthy game. After saving 5 break points, the Romanians win the game for 2-2.

There's no pressure in doubles, only singles. He'll be fine for singles. Doubles you don't expend energy running on the baseline and you have the whole court to hit balls into. It's more fun than pressure.

Maybe for the ones which play just doubles but playing every single day singles too is a diferent story

There is that, but really, the Olympics is an adventure, a boon, it's a swill. Rafa will not have stepped foot on a practice court, he's playing enough. In his spare time he's sipping cappuccinos with Phelps and pieballing the girlie gymnasts and shapely female Jamaican sprinters. It's his last Olympics! He'd be wise to use his time well.... :popcorn

Front , Rafa body will be sore from spending so much time on the hard courts..plus his left shoulder and fore arm is gonna be worn down..dude, you clearly haven't played much competitive tennis
