Kohlschreiber-Haas just begun. That'd be a better match to watch then this one, I reckon. Winner gets Federer...

Did Anderson withdraw? I'd have it 60-40 at best for Roger if he doesn't.

Really! :lolz:

Negative, much? I think Roger breezes through it...

Boy, they are scheduling six matches in one court. Don't they have enough courts
in Paris? Being impatient to see Fed qualify.

Have you seen him play this year? Serious question. He barely looks top 20 since AO. Now we are left with these "huge moral victories" like pushing 2nd tier DP hard in the Basel final and looking competent for a set vs. Rafa on the fastest hard court on tour. Anderson has been poor lately though so Roger is the slight favorite.

What are the scenarios where Roger doesn't qualify? I assume one would be Gasquet and Haas going deep with Haas winning it all, ie Roger has it locked up.

Its hard to tell with Federer, after seeing that Pop 63 67 75 match. Anderson may be as good as Pop.

It's not hard to tell at all with Roger. He ain't good at all...not this year. We will see what 2014 brings but he is predictably bad until then.

At 7-5 3-3:
Nadal 81% of 1st serves in.
Nadal 100% of 1st serves won.

I'm half-watching this Rafa match. No real intensity from him, it's like a rush-job that won't rush. If he's not careful, it could take a lot longer than it should...

I don't mind. Its good to hit a lot of balls before facing the mighty JJ.

Yeah, that's true, but good quality hitting would be better. In fairness, Nadal is the one guy who shifts gears so brutally fast during an event. He can go from this to playing great against JJ and it wouldn't surprise me...

Look at the difference between the ballgirls. The ballgirl with Nadal now is not at all economical in movements, very messy, arms all over the place, fumbling. Whereas the fringe ballgirl has flawless footwork, arms stay close, never fumbles.

The ballgirls? It's bad enough watching the tennis. Plenty fumbling going on with the players, forget the ballgirls! :lolz:

And I think the fringe ballgirl has left the court. I only saw her very early in the match. She was going all day before this.....so well earned break. Fringe was the star of Roland Garros btw-

An increase in tempo there from Rafa, a splurge of impetus, and he breaks, but he's making heavy-weather of this one. Not unexpectedly, maybe, but it's a good one for him to run off a little rust...

Granollers did what he could but he had absolutely no chance on Rafa's serve.

I'm ravenous but I'll wait another minute. If my belly rumbles a bit louder, the missus might take a hint... ;)

Now we know whom to contact if the fringe ball girl goes missing.

Good to see Nadal signing the camera lens with a bright yellow pen. Black was always wrong.
