Nole broke serve. Almost seems cruel when they actually rally. Isner looks embarrassed exerting himself on groundstrokes, as if he's suffered a moral failure of some sort...

This set will be 6-1. Nole is grinning like Travis Bickle...

Yep. DP is taking some medicine. Maybe anti-flams.

Maybe a HGH infused can of Redbull. That's a spicy meatball

Most of their matches go like this. Big John will feasibly go away in the 2nd set only to end up serving first in the decider and keeping it close to have a shot at winning the match 7-5 or in another breaker.

I dunno if Big John follows the scoreboard. He just waits patiently for the ump to tell him to serve and he starts dropping hail...

Novak and Delpo down a set. What is it about this stupid tournament? Glad I am stuck in the archive and can't watch.

Caveat: Before anybody says anything, obviously they are playing tough opponents.

Exactly what I was thinking as soon as Novak broke serve. Isner will work like mad to hold, and make Novak serve out the second, then go all out in the third.

It's in the worst possible position on the calendar: last Masters of the year, and the week before the WTF. This is why Paris wants to move their tournament to the spring.

Difficult to see Isner getting back into this one. The serve alone is not enough today! Nole has been sterling in the service since the first set tiebreaker...

It's over Kieran. You're right, when Iznah is not dropping bombs he can't hang w/ a great returner.

Yeah. Plus, Nole kept his nerve and didn't lose heart at missing those bp's in the first. Very effective performance by him today :clap

Now the question of the hour. Who will blink first in this DP/Dimi match?

And as if on que Darth, Dimi coughs up his serve. DP up 5-4 and will serve for the match.

Well we will see if Roger can set up another match with DP. I have doubts he can beat any version of DP in his current form but now would figure to be a decent chance.
