I guess no one told the Boys it was time for them to come back Earth. Showed up Sherman & Co. in their own stadium.

Of course the Good Jay shows up to keep the Bears from dropping 3 in a row.

Yeah it's natural that Seattle's defense would drop down a bit from what was a historically great season last year but so far it's been a real big dip. No need to panic at 3-2 but this is probably quite the wake up call. As much as I hate Dallas I think the result helps GB and any other potential playoff team because no one except the Seahawks will want the Super Bowl to go through Seattle. Dallas will come down to Earth soon and even if they don't I wouldn't be the least bit afraid of them in the playoffs.

Chicago responded well but Atlanta might have the worst defense in the NFL, not too much to read into their offense today.

That game took years off my life, GB defense went to hell when their starting cornerbacks went down near the start of the 2nd half

Great comeback by the Pack, you have to admit, my hunch was almost correct, any given Sunday

Yep, and you picked Chicago right and darn near got Carolina right (which I considered to be a huge surprise).

That being said , where do we stand Sir Dath... I doubt if anyone picked more than 11 correct this week with tie game and the Seahawks upset

There is still one more game tonight, I think Darth tallies everything after all the games are over.

I think you, KS and me are currently at 10-3 (after discounting the tie). So assuming SF wins we all get 11. I will have to see if Didi and Nehmeth picked but I think Billie struggled after her masterful week 5 picks.

Currently I got us 3 at 10-3, Didi at 9-4 and Billie at 7-6. As always I encourage everyone to review their picks to see if I messed up something, it happened last year a couple times.

Hi Billie.. Changing picks is very standard and I think a must.. based on injury reports, player's availability and etc.. However.. it cost me because I was just certain that the Bengals and the Lions would loose based the fact both teams losts major star offensive players which didn't happen.:puzzled Darn it, it took away an opportunity to put some distance between myself and mr Darth::rolleyes:

AP, it is OK to think and change your picks when you know a little bit more about football. I had no idea about Bengals and Lions losing those players for example. I don't even want to tell you how I make my picks sometimes because some teams I don't even know 1 single player. So I went with Steelers because they are more familiar to me even though my first reaction was to go for their opponents. I am not concerned about my ranking, this is just more fun for me. But I try to follow a little bit more this season.

You'll soon make up for this week, I am sure:)

I had Minnesota winning too AP. Guess I bought a bit of the Bridgewater hype and we know Detroit's offense without Megatron is not good. Bengals at home are tough and Carolina is not any good this year. Even without Green I thought that was a comfortable win for Cincy, and if that clown didn't butcher a 35 yard FG I'd be one game closer to you. Everything clicked last year for Carolina and they had a great defense, now without Hardy it is a lot tougher. GB will send them to 3-3-1 next week ;)

yes, Adam packman Jones was correct, the kicker didn't do his job

I'd have a little more sympathy for Pacman if he wasn't part of a defense that gave up 37 points to a weak offense.

What horrific play calling on 4 down and the Niners fail to put the nail in the coffin

Saw most of the 2nd half and a replay of that ridiculous TD to end the 1st half. Do you fire the DC, the cornerback, or both? That was pee-wee football as Steve Young said. Sure the cornerback screwed up royally on that play but I don't care if you have Deion Sanders on speed back there, in what world do you not give safety help on the outside when the only thing that can hurt you with 20 seconds left at the 20 yard line is a 50+ yard play?

Anyways I'm not too sad it happened as I'm $300 richer after SF covered that puny 4.5 point spread. That spread caused a nice murmur in the wallet when I saw it tonight :)

Greg Williams(Saints bounty gate) is the idiot who called that ridiculous coverage.. but really bad coverage by the corner.. very similar to what Baltimore did in the playoffs when the Denver safety let the wideout get behind him.. Congrats on making a few bucks on my team...Nice:clap
