That article is "ok" .......but to say "to save his popularity"? come on, it's ridiculous. Maybe that's the reason why Roger likes to push his hair forward to cover his receding hairline :)

When you start losing hair in different patches, but not all over a hair transplant would make sense to me. As to Rafa's reasons for doing so, only he knows. Speculation is foolish.

Nadal is a young, rich, popular athlete with plenty of endorsement related to his physical appearance. A transplant makes sense.

To be clear, when I say Nadal is young, I'm not talking about tennis standards. He's just a young man by life standards lol.

I know that. Players used to be contemplating retirement as they neared the 30's.

He was also really famous for his hair. (And his guns.) It can't have been easy to lose his hair, publicly. Maybe this will give him some confidence back. Like Samson. (It might be an odd theory, but no worse than Becker's notion that Djokovic was unmotivated because Nadal and Federer didn't play in the YECs.)

Men always are very worry about losing hair and I don't blame them tough some of them are good looking .
I think a transplant is the best choice, it's your own hair implanted in certain patches and looks very natural. Rafa's grandfather was bald since he was very young and it seems Rafa has inherited it

Hair transplants take between 8 months to a year for the results to be pretty evident. This is just Rafa's hair with a shorter hair cut. Because it wasn't like he was bald or anything, he can look pretty good even before the results are showing.
