The Community of Madrid will grant Rafa Nadal the "Grand Cross of the Order of the 2nd of May".For being one of the best athletes in history, for his humanity and for everything he adds to our country. The process will start in the next government Council. It's Madrid's highest distinction.

For those who have Tennis Channel, tomorrow at 3:30pm EST they're showing 2003 Hamburg Nadal v. Moya, when Rafa was 16 and it was the first time they played each other in an ATP match. Just for fun.

And with wife, sister and friends

This is the Serra de Tramuntana in the NE of Mallorca. A UNESCO site and one of the more dramatic views in the world...reminds me of Big Sur, CA. You feel like you can see to the edge of the world....nothing but sea and horizon. The highest point of the island is in this range.

After speaking with Rafa and due to the delicate situation with the virus in Spain,Moyer will not be travalling to Australia with Rafa.
The Australian Government is not authorizing separate traveling and having me arrive at the beginning of the tournament.I will follow the tournament from home.
Quite frankly I think this is a 'weak excuse' from Moya.As a coach you travel with your player and make the necessary arrangements for practice etc.All the players in quarantine are allowed to practice in quarantine for a couple of hours a day for two weeks before they play their lead up tournaments before the AO start February 8th.

What I posted above has Rafael's quiz as posted above by @tented, so I watched it. I always think the answer was Umag, but it was Sopot. 2004.

Last time he was in Rotterdam was 2009, after winning Oz, and against all of our council, he went to Holland and screwed up his knees. I hope it's not a poor choice again, this time.
