Beautiful picture of the couple after the wedding
in terms of leadership nadal has he's own event tennis school ect…. clearly the best leader, confidence he's 19 grand slams show that, charisma all of the big 3 have that which ever your a fan of.Confidence ? No, remember the last fights with Novak in Melbourne and London? Against Daniil in NY? That confident to you?
Charisma , what’s that about? For you it’s Nadal , for me Novak and for Front for example Roger.
Leadership? I see Roger clearly in front.
Damn it, they are all great tennis players for sure. How they are personally , I don’t give a shit, so they don’t for me.
No offense.
Ah Ok now I get it. Maybe it’s like that.in terms of leadership nadal has he's own event tennis school ect…. clearly the best leader, confidence he's 19 grand slams show that, charisma all of the big 3 have that which ever your a fan of.
They're married! Here is an article with a lot of photos from the Spanish press. Click on "galería de fotos" to see more pictures. Among those attending: ex-King and Queen of Spain, Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía; Feliciano Lopez and his wife; Carlos Moya and his wife; Marc Lopez & GF; Juan Monaco & GF; David Ferrer and his wife; Albert Costa; Carlos Costa...and all of the team. Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero. Feli said he talked to Rafa on Friday and he seemed "kind of nervous." LOL.

Congrats to Nadal for getting married. Hopefully he can continue to play for many more years and maybe even win more slams.
That being said, why was Nadal nervous. The wedding doesn't seem to be a big deal when you've been with someone for 14 years. What is the novelty except to seal the relationship legally - to have some rights and tax benefits. Other than that, what would change? They've been living together and would continue to do so after the marriage.
On what basis are you saying that he was indeed nervous. Are you making this out from the pictures and his facial expressions or do you have some inside info?
R u saying our all time champ was “shackin”! Moxie and ImJimmy that goes against my very strict religious upbringing..heck some of us had to wait til wedding day before we was able to consummate our marriage..Dude, I am done with Rafa..let me reach out to my good buddies Front or Darth to see if I can jump on Roger’s bandwagon..no mas Nadal for meCongrats to Nadal for getting married. Hopefully he can continue to play for many more years and maybe even win more slams.

He was nervous because it was a huge event...I'm guessing. Look, Rafa's still nervous when he plays a big tennis final, and he's done that lots of times. This is the only time he's ever gotten married. Yes, formalizing his relationship with a woman he's been with for 14 years should be perfunctory. But performing it in front of a crowd that included the ex-King and Queen of Spain...well, why wouldn't he be nervous?Congrats to Nadal for getting married. Hopefully he can continue to play for many more years and maybe even win more slams.

Your religious upbringing is your thing. (And whatever about this is ironic, you can tell us.)R u saying our all time champ was “shackin”! Feliciano Lopez said he spoke to Rafa on Friday before the wedding. He said he "sounded nervous." I don't think that's a big deal. Brides and grooms tend to be nervous before a wedding, especially a big one.On what basis are you saying that he was indeed nervous. Are you making this out from the pictures and his facial expressions or do you have some inside info?
I'm completely lost with some comments.........by the way the pictures are after the wedding but I suppose the couple were vey nervous before like all the couples around the world the day of the wedding.....I say......including Feli recently the day of his second wedding........I'm with you...this makes no sense.
Good grief..I am only joking..I'm with you...this makes no sense.

Very well stated as usual ImJimmy..as I said months ago..my concern isnt with Rafa's life off the court..that's his business..i was attempting to add a little humor at poor ole Ralph's expense..I apologizeYou must be kidding. Cohabitation before marriage is pretty much always the case in Western world. Even in the Eastern world, cohabitation is increasing rapidly, and is no longer regarded negatively.
Nadal's case is a little unusual because he was with his partner for 14 years. Which means he started pretty early. It's also a really long time (with one person) not least because he's a world famous tennis player and can have his pick. Most of the other players have multiple relationships before tying the knot. But then we know Nadal doesn't have a wandering eye and generally prefers same people around him.
Because of all these reasons, I was surprised that Nadal would be nervous, as nothing much changes after legalizing the relationship. But then as Moxie eloquently explained above, it's probably because of the high profile guest list, media exposure etc etc. Not to mention the legalities as Xisca would technically have access to half of Nadal's fortune - which is why prenups are becoming common these days.
