Very well stated as usual ImJimmy..as I said months ago..my concern isnt with Rafa's life off the court..that's his business..i was attempting to add a little humor at poor ole Ralph's expense..I apologize
No need to apologize. It's all good.

It was clear that he was joking, though it wasn't the least bit clear what the joke was. Kind of a random post.Antipusher’s post couldn’t have been more obviously tongue in cheek other than actually spelling out “TONGUE IN CHEEK”.
Just saying.
Pretty good answers by Rafa B-)
Rafa and Roger should play doubles at RG and take it serious and win
Rafa's foundation has opened a new center in Natzaret, in the outskirts of Valencia, which is a rough area with lots of drug problems, to give a place to support vulnerable children and teens. It will offer tutoring, more sports options for kids in the area, and a daily free meal. https://www.20minutos.es/noticia/40...-para-menores-en-situacion-de-vulnerabilidad/

Man I actually love this idea. Never gonna happen for a multitude of reasons (unless there comes a stage where they're both completely washed up/injured and just want to have fun, and even then...) but I love it.
They could potentially be retired from singles and win RG doubles multiple times.
The NYTimes had this article today on Nadal's history at the YEC. This was very interesting:
"Though he has qualified for the ATP Finals every year since 2005, he has only played the tournament eight times, pulling out with injuries nearly every other year. Two years ago, he withdrew with a knee injury and last year he had ankle surgery." I've pointed this out before, but in those years since 2005, Roger and Novak have won it a combined 9 times, and Rafa has only played it 8 times, as they noted. Not the only reason he hasn't yet won it, of course, but not helpful, either.
Aw, stick your tongue out, if you like. Of the Big 3, Rafa has the highest winning pct at Majors. He has also missed more than either of the other 2, by a lot, due to injury. Weigh that as you like, but with fewer injuries there is a very good chance that Rafa would already have matched or passed Roger in Majors. And without them, he'd have had 8 more chances at the YEC.Ya, I agree it is hard to win when you don't play.
