Nadal in one word, per his fellow players:
Or you could look for it. But then you'd have to start a fan thread for him.I like that you have something for Federer, Nadal and Djokovic in one word. I hope you can find something for Wawrinka too.
I was thinking about Kyrgios too. A lot can be said about the guy.Or you could look for it. But then you'd have to start a fan thread for him.
Maybe more interesting would be "one word" to describe Kyrgios, though I could guess at what some of the choices would be.
Right, but one word. And if I were making the rules, I'd exclude "dick." I'm guessing "unpredictable" and "crazy" would feature. Right now I'm watching him about to close out Nishioka. He's been pretty stable for the most part in this match.I was thinking about Kyrgios too. A lot can be said about the guy.

Nadal won the Canadian Open while both Djokovic and Federer lost in Cincinnati...
Nadal has 35 Masters 1000 titles to Djokovic's 33 and Federer's 28...
Also by winning his 5th Canadian Open, Nadal has now won 5 titles or more in FOUR separate Masters 1000 tournaments. And he did it on 2 separate surfaces.
Both Djokovic and Federer have won 5 titles or more in only TWO separate Masters 1000 tournaments. They both did it on only 1 surface.
Nice little golf clap. Though I would say Roger won 4 at Hamburg and 2 at Madrid which replaced Hamburg. If we are no longer counting the former tournament that means we don't count Madrid which means Rafa hasn't won at Shanghai on top of being useless at Miami, Paris, and YEC. Not to mention he's the only big 3 or even big 4 player that does not even have 5 titles total on grass.

Only 4 are played back to back: IW/Miami and Canada/Cincy. But it has been argued that they are especially tough, given that there are no days off, and the there are no easy rounds, in theory.Masters are played back to back to back, no respite against a stacked field.

Oh God, not this garbage where MS events mean as much as majors because they are supposedly harder to win (they aren't).
Uh..nobody said that.
The comment was Masters are tough events, and as I was corrected, but some of them have back to back matches. Aren’t most played quarters, SF and finals on consecutive days?
On a side note, when was a Masters final last played as best of five.
