This sucks. Kei had a really good chance of winning this, now I'm afraid Rafa is going to roll over him.

That's looking like a distinct possibility. And it does suck.

It's still pitiful that this is what is needed for Rafa to win.

Well Kei has been playing light's out, so there's that. But I hear your concern. Roland Garros could be very interesting - especially if Novak comes back in good form.

This could be Roger's year to beat Rafa in Paris.

You know that thought never even crossed my mind until you mentioned it. Not once. Don't give me hope!!!

Dang! They started? I thought it was starting now... :nono

I missed the first set, and the first several games of the second. Apparently we didn't miss much ... except for Rafa playing terribly, and Kei playing very well.

The Paris indoor maybe. But unless they change RG to 2/3, Fed just doesn't have the endurance to go the distance even against a 75% Rafa.

Fair play to Kei, he's holding his end up, very impressed by the score, regardless that I haven't seen it. I like this guy's attitude this year...

You missed some incredible tennis by Kei for sure. It was a great and refreshing set of tennis.

Kei is hitting a lot of unforced errors now, let´s hope for a miracle so the injury goes away.

Nishi went off court. Could they be giving him a shot or just oral anti-flams?

I think the nature of matches like this is that now Rafa should settle and win it, but yeah, it would be nice if Kei was fully fit. Even so, anything can happen now...

Probably not, but I like El Dude too much to cause him to abandon all hope! ;)

Kieran, you missed a lot. This was Kei's match. He was up 6-2, 3-1, then got injured - or re-injured. Rafa's been rolling over him since. Kei doesn't have a chance - I expect him to forfeit after he's broken once or maybe twice.

STOP hitting dropshots.

You try playing tennis w/ a bad back. You'd be hitting droppers too .

Yeah, it looks over. I was hoping he could get back in to it when I wrote that.

Yep, that's exactly what happens when the opponent is physically spent. You remember this year's AO final, no? ;)

Even so, anything can happen now...

I wouldn't say anything. I think it's pretty clear.

Unless, of course, he invokes the kamikaze mentality.

Kei is taking his time so the drugs can kick in?
