Sinner a bigger version of Zverev dont make me laugh lol! at least Sinner has improved his serve and his net game has improved, Sinner is more balanced than Zverev or Tsitsipas for starters on the baseline., Sinner is a pure striker of the ball on his fhand and bhand wing,
He came back from 2 sets down at the AO to defeat Medvedev, if that is not showing mental ability I dont know what is? winning his 1st GS title at the AO
Zverev and Tsitispas are both lacking in mental ability, lets not forget Zverev at the USO where he had CH points and choked big time
Stef lead Novak by 2 sets at RG and choked.
Zverev's fhand goes AWOL when pressured and Stef's bhand has not improved at all, same as his bhand slice,? his opponents just attack his BH with easy results, he wont find a proper coach as he thinks his father is the right choice for him,

One of the most interesting match ups is Bublik who hates the clay and morning matches up against Meddy who constantly whinges about clay conditions.,even though he has won a clay title in Rome:)

I will play devil's advocate here: While Zverev and Tsitsipas are mental midgets, both of them also have technical flaws in their game. Zverev's FH and Tsitsipas' BH get exposed or break down when the match gets tighter (especially during Slams).

At least with Sinner, he did improve his serve technique. Once in a while, his FH sprays errors but that's more mental than technical unlike Zverev and Tsitsipas.
Tsitsipas has definitely glaring technical deficiencies, namely the bh and the return of serve.

I would argue even now Zverev has a more explosive serve then Sinner, however he gets serving yips which to me is more mental.

As to their stokes breaking down when the match gets tighter especially in a slam?, unintentionally you just perfectly described a mental deficiency.

Meddy and Bublik match just started,

Meddy made our day again yesterday
When asking the umpire why the roof isnt closed because of the rain
- You are fine under an umbrella, we aren't
- I don't make the decision, they do
- Who are 'they'? The Illumiati ?? :)

Did Stef really choke vs Novak at RG or did he just got chased down..I would say Zverve choked vs Thiem at the US Open and Thiem choked vs Novak at AO final.Coria really choked his RG final away.. Johnny Mac did too vs Lendl..I think Novak made some adjustments to his game that Stef couldn't counter.
I know your a fan of Stef, come on his mental ability is sub par, when he says his best surface is clay? you can make the excuses for him he was 'just chased down' I beg to differ, he had the 'upper hand' and let it slip away.
Meddy also can be a 'mental midget' he lost to Rafa being 2 sets up at the AO, took him a long time to recover? this year at the AO again he was up 2 sets to love over Sinner and again let it slip away
Quite frankly I have never thought Thiem had the mental ability of a champion player, he didnt play well at the USO and was lucky to make the final, after his win, he went AWOL for awhile., he even said the pressure got to him

Meddy 1st set 76 (3) over Bublik , so far a 'drama free match' from these 2. apart from a underarm serve from Bublik 0-6 in the TB:)
Meddy wins 76(3) 64
Meddy has now reached at least the QF in Every Masters 1000 and GS!

Well thats the way it came across okay, Stef has glaring holes in his game which he hasnt improved on, BH and also BH slice,
I haven't seen Stef play since last Fall .Those are two parts of his game that shouldn't be hard to tweak. I don't know why his coaches instructors are not improving his game so it's must be mental as you said

Well if he cut the aprons strings from his dad and got a 'real coach' who could help him in the technical part of his game, maybe we could see improvements no?

Even then, there's a huge gulf in between Zverev's mental fortitude and Tsitsipas's mental fortitude. Zverev has shown he has enough mental fortitude to come back from his severe injury at the 2022 French Open. A lot of lesser players would have quit after that. (And I'm far from a Zverev fan.) Tsitsipas, on the other hand, has all the talent in the world, but doesn't care enough to get the most out of it. At the first sign of adversity, Tsitsipas folds like a lawn chair.

Having computer troubles again, back on line,

Well done to the "Dangerous One aka Cerundolo" defeating Zverev 63 64 one of the best wins of his career,
Cerundolo makes a Masters 1000 QF for the third year running
Carlos Alcaraz and Cerundolo able to beat 2 time champion in straight sets at Madrid Masters!

Mental fortitude and mental strength are 2 different situations, Stef hasnt shown capacity to handle difficult situations
Mental fortitude enables a person to encounter danger or bear pain, say with courage., in Zverev's situation coming back from injury, is an example of mental fortitude, still he choked when he had CH points at the USO didnt he? if he had shown mental ability in those moments he would have won his first GS title

What a fhand winner from Alcaraz, he does it with a smile, love watching play like this when he is in this mood!
On his 3rd SP Alcaraz wins the 1st set 63, a good match up so far!, probably the best set Alcaraz has played so far this week
An area Alcaraz can improve on is his serve his 2nd serve, though on clay his high kick serve is always hard to return..

I am only SB this match seeing it is on at the same time as Alcaraz v Struff match
Kkachanov 1st set 75 over Sinner.I hope Sinners hip isnt giving him grief, I might go and watch his match live
Jannik had a better reaction early in the 2nd set, reading KK serve better and wins 63
Going 3
