The Young Greek has to find a way to hit through Zverev
His footwork at present is letting him down badly

I dont know why the Young Greek has not used his BH down the line more often, though he did just try one, his feet need to be in the correct position for starters, which has been letting him down

Just looked up the H2H between Zverev and Alcaraz ...Sahsa leads 2-0 both on HC both in 2021?
I wont take a lot of notice of that stat....The Kid is a much better player now.

Waiting for the coaching violation for the Young Greek just as he was about to serve., ...The Young Greek arguing with the umpire to no avail.

That was the other poster’s argument. I think it was @rafanoy1992. Interesting argument for that match and it looks like we’ll get it.

I think Alcaraz playing Tsitsipas would be more interesting than Alexander “I can’t believe it’s not paint drying!” Zverev.
I agree. I don't care about the h2h, and Tsitsipas is a more interesting shot maker, and generally better on clay, but, hey, this is "clard".

First time Sasha has defeated The Young Greek on a clay chard court and he now gets to defend his title against The Kid

Alcaraz is a dropshot machine and hopeful he will use that over and over.again

Not to mention the Mr. T Starter Set of necklaces, as Courier put it.
I think it might be kind of a Russian thing, even though Zverev is German national. Safin wore lots of necklaces, (though he didn't practice in them, as I saw him on the practice courts at the USO some years back,) and Rublev does, too. Maybe that's a way they feel girded for battle.

And because I couldn't resist:
