When you KNOW for a FACT that you hit a good shot and the reply, IF it happens,is going to be a weak slice at best, WHY THE HELL YOU STAY BACK AND WATCH THE BALL SAIL SLOWLY! And then get back into another rally from scratch????And end up losing the point???

Today's tennis is frustrating beyond belief...

I am enjoying this match and waiting for the next.

Kei is the man, I think he will win this today.

I'm not sure now. I think he had his chance and it was poor shot selection on a few of those points that could have ended it or got him to the TB. Ferrer is not the person you want to play when you are carrying an injury.

The Spaniards don't want to see another Spaniard get butchered in the final by Nadal. They want this new guy to get butchered.
:puzzled

I am rooting for the new man on the block.

I understand completely. I actually picked Kei to win this yesterday, but I don't know if he will be able to hang on physically w/ someone like Ferrer in this final set. We'll see. The good news is he's serving first so maybe he can force a late break to win the match.

And he breaks at 15-40 for a 4-2 lead. He consolidates. 5-2

Nishikori one game away. Sure hope he doesn't forfeit the final though... Shades of Miami...
