Speculation in another forum.

who ever made that statement really having been paying attention..I think Rafa will play better at Rome if he faces Andy again for

If Rafa will get to play Andy in Rome, it means he is in great form, because he has a brutal draw and Andy is on the other side of the draw.

Yes indeed, a brutal draw for Rafa

Bummer for Rafa, but I wouldn't get too down on it. Yet.

Got up 5am to catch the match. Really a good one. By stats, we might think Rafa lost due to his pathetic bp conversion. Murray saved his bp by clutch serve and aggressive play. He outplayed Rafa in big points. Well deserved victory.

Rafa has to find a way to correct that stat (bps,) he hasn't been good this tournament, smh

Federer's draw is very tough as well. Even more so since he's played so little since the AO.

For Roger does not matter. He ain't winning a clay event this season. Unless he chooses to play Gstaad. ;)

True but tough early rounds to get any sort of practice with the amount of time he's been off. I know he says he trusts his game for the rest of the season even with little practice but I don't :D

That said, if Roger gets through a decent amount of his tough draw with the few matches he's played since the AO I'll be very impressed. He has 600 points to defend in Rome.

Unimpressed by the form of all the top players this week and I bet Roger is too. Looking forward to seeing him back properly to make things interesting.

Nole's made the adjustment and he's "coming on" and taking it to Kei! Takes the 1st set! :p :lolz: :clap

Nishi always seems to tighten up at the worst moment against Nole. Reminds me of back in the day when Nole did the same against Roger and Rafa.

First game of the set was shocking and even Roger "king of squandering break points" wouldn't have let him win that game but Nishikori's shocking when it comes to capitalizing. Beating inconsistent Kei is expected as he throws in one good match in around 8-10 these days. We'll get a better idea of Novak's level against Murray but he should win either way even playing like this if Murray serves poorly like today. Still can't see Murray or Nadal beating Novak again anytime soon.

Not high quality here. While Murray/Nadal was scratchy, many of their points were much better than what's playing now. :cover

While some of these models are attractive, can Tiriac please get ball people who can run catch and throw? Is that asking too much?

That was probably the worst overhead of the day and Nadal and Murray hit some absolute shockers.

Not tennis balls. :nono They can't run, they can't throw, and they're tripping over their bosoms when they try to retrieve the errant (tennis) ball. :cover
