Murray broke back 5/5, it's a bad match from Andy, he has to increase his game level

Sure Rafa exceeded the 25 sec time to serve the ball an he deserved a warning but that was pure gutless to give him a warning during the crucial part of the game instead of the early games.. I never liked this umpire.. such a chump he is

Rafa should get a warning every freaking service game. Period.

Rafa is playing too passively against this opponent, he needs to step it up

He's still a little green Murat. Pulling the trigger too early in some rallies and too passive in others. Needs to learn the art of controlled aggression and then he'll be a force to reckon with.

Watch this now: somebody (probably Front, or Fiero) will come on and say Rafa celebrated too excessively.

Then somebody else (probably Fiero, or Front) will say Thiem must have been tired and that's why he lost... :popcorn

I love it. Rafa knows he is breaking the rules every time he steps up to the service line, and you blame the ump for when he chooses to enforce it...

It's a valid question, though, to ask why the umpire doesn't enforce the law soon as it's broke. It's not the umpires job to pick and choose when he makes the call...

It's also not the rule breaker who is the victim. Rafa knows what he does, not to mention this happens pretty regularly with how they enforce it. If he doesn't want it to happen, he should follow the rules.

Rafa gradually raised his level, was patient and smart, classic Nadal win over someone who outplayed him much of the time (most in the first set)
Definitely Thiem could be the Rafa Nadal successor on clay
