The fans booed Tsonga at the end, which seems a bit rude. It wasn't for the lack of effort that he lost, which would be probably the main reason I'd boo a player...

The fans felt cheated since he took out Federer and didn't exactly put up much fight! I'll feel the same about Monfils tomorrow if he goes out easily to Rafa! :nono  :dodgy: :cover

Well I could go away and keep it all to myself if you aren't happy with my banter! I thought this was a message board to express one's opinions! When are you going to get it, many just don't like Rafa and they never will; esp. me? Again, I don't like his game, I don't like his act on court, and esp, don't like how he gets away with murder with the virtual blessing of the umpires! Only Carlos calls him out it seems! I did hear this nudge actually warned him about coaching from the box! Some champion; needs help with Murray? Truly pathetic! :nono :cover :nono

Well, I've never liked Federer, his game is not so 'elegant' like his fans pretend and less depending against he plays and boring many times, he is tacky and and self-entered. When he was on his prim he thought he was the king of the world but thanks to heaven he fall down of that cloud pretty fast when Rafa Nadal came to the stage, that was a tough blow for him and his fanatics, that funny "religious experience" went with the wind lol and since then Rafa has been the most loved, admired and also hated of all the tennis players.

I guarantee you Federer is the most loved tennis player on tour and it's not even close. You're probably right about Nadal being the most hated though and that's not even close either :p

Win or lose has all the respect of his peers.
Tsonga comments about a few days ago asked if Rafa can again be at avery good level
He said: I can't say. They told me that Roger was too old. I have always been saying that these guys are champions with huge abilities. It's difficult to say that a player will not be a the top especially when you keep hoping. About Rafa I have always dreamt of having his career, he won RG for a decade. I don't ask myself the question of knowing if he is going to be good or not! I tell myself that his life is at the top, he is happy with family, many friends and many people who love him.
Tsonga knows the players much better than all of us

The one thing I love seeing right now from Nadal is his forehand. His forehand has a lot of action right now. And what makes it more fascinating is that it gets more "alive" once the match gets longer. If he could hit his forehand like this through Roland Garros, then I could see him winning his 10th RG crown this year.

Also, he is hitting backhand aggressively right now. I just wish he does this more consistently. If he could hit his backhand aggressively consistently, then opponent would have a hard time attacking his forehand.

If you live in the central AP, then it is 7:30 am. I live in the West Coast time zone, so in my place it starts at 5:30 am.

Hoping Monfils plays to win, not dazzle with trick shots. He must focus and win in two sets because Nadal won't lose if the match goes to a third set.
