Front, I see it as a matter of different styles of game play, and the sport is richer for it having a diversity of style. I tend to prefer more attacking tennis and would rather watch Federer-Nalbandian, but this style is also impressive and can be enjoyable. A Rafa-Novak five-setter remains one of the great spectacles in tennis.

I too really enjoy Nadal v Djokovic matches but when they play each other they don't push the ball like this. It's more Monfils causing it here and Nadal is returning the favour by tapping his shots lightly as well. The few times they increase the speed it's much more watchable but the lame, light tap overs are puke making for me and there's no shot making involved as they simply land it short over the net with no power. And definitely give me Federer v Nalbandian over this dung fest too.

90% of the time they are, Kieran. The winner on Monfils' last game point was class but that's been about 10% of this match.
