And did he get a cookie for that effort?

I understand that a loss is a loss, but you said "pure trash on clay." That's different.

Not making a single final on clay and generally being an afterthought on the surface...

I guess I forgot it was you, Darth…who believes someone is either the champion, or garbage, with no in-between. ;)

Anyway, Tsonga survived that service game.

If he was a one time champion or, gasp, a one time finalist it might be different. Anyways I see Tsonga as just mostly a mindless ballbasher and it is frustrating when Roger loses to that type nowadays given how foolish he used to make them look.

You are right. Whenever I am watching Tsonga, I keep thinking he must have an IQ somewhere around 20 or so

I thank it's a good sign to see Fes get angry and show it. Demonstrates he still wants to win.

Not to mention we will soon see the dumbest celebration in sports at Roger's expense if he doesn't turn it around.

No, Youhzny's is the dumbest.

What does the mad doctor do? Isn't it some salute or something? And does he actually do it after EVERY win like Ali does? I'd prefer seeing the Doctor smash his head with a racquet out of pure joy :snigger

Roger's inability to break Tsonga must be very frustrating for him. And his fans.

^ Tbh that's all I recall from Youzhny. Belting himself on the head multiple times. But hey, where there's no sense, there's no feeling.

I stopped being frustrated by it years ago, it is actually expected at this point. No joke. The question is usually whether Roger will have a couple crappy service games which often cripples his chances in matches like this.

He holds his racquet on his head with one hand and salutes with the other. Anyway, I like Ali's celebration. I wouldn't mind seeing it today.
