I am happy for both Foki (still a badass nickname) and Tsitsipas in this tournament.

Hopefully, this run will allow Foki to become a more confident and better player not just on Clay but in other surfaces as well. He is an entertaining guy (in a good way), but also, he is a talented tennis player. It will be nice to ride the momentum going...

As for Tsitsipas, I am glad he is able to lift the monkey off his back (at least for now) especially after what happened in the RG final last year. His game is really suited on the Clay surface. But Tsitsipas, I beg of you, PLEASE get rid of your father, Apostolos, as your coach. Furthermore, do not let Patrick Mouratoglou influences you regarding about tennis. Both of those people will just give you more confusion and unnecessary drama on your tennis.

I think we all agree that Stephanos should dump his dad. Why do you think Mouratoglou would bring too much drama? Just curious.

Well Tsistpas does train at Patrick's academy so quite frankly I cannot see that ending any time soon.I have no words left for his father, who just keeps on coaching from the sidelines, as I have said many times, just give a point penalty, maybe that will stop the rubbish coaching.

Patrick has really helped to develop and refine his game. If he's going to dump someone, it should be his father and hire a sports shrink. With those 2 things in his pocket, he wouldn't have lost that RG final from 2 sets up. He needs to learn to think for himself out there and not use his father as a crutch.

Remember Tomas Enqvist is also a part now of the Young Greek's coaching team.

Because in the past couple of months, Patrick is making a lot of unusual comments about different players (mainly about Nadal and Djokovic). While I know part of that was theatrics, so he can coach Djokovic.

I just think as of right now (especially now that Stefanos is 24 years age), Stefanos does not need any more theatrics from either his dad or Patrick.

I think Thomas Enqvist is a good and solid coach for Stefanos. He will definitely stay quiet and stay drama free so Stefanos can focus on the court.

Once Stefanos gets consistently winning results, then he can have Patrick in his ears again.

The Young Greek has said his dad is the main coach, regardless of Enqvist being a part of the team
Having a few coaches can be confusing,to me they have to be in sync, otherwise,to me it is not going to work
I cannot see at this stage, see his dad leaving, also they seem to have a really good relationship.

Let’s just hope that Tsitsipas will be good enough to win a lot of big titles in spite of his dad being his coach.

I think I have missed the unusual comments or whatever politics. Remind me? So you think Mouratoglou wants to coach Djokovic? I feel confused.

He made a comment on a IG video in the past couple of weeks and said that at their best, Djokovic is better than Nadal on Clay.

I think he said that because he wants to coach Djokovic or something. Ultimately, he is coaching Simona Halep now. Also, while it is only a comment from him, that is a huge comment to say.

I think he is a good coach, but he needs to be quiet just a little bit. It is why I want Stefanos to keep a little bit of distance from Patrick because he already has his father that he kinda has to listen to right now.

He is a great coach and personally, I wouldn't put much stock in his comments because you're right he is mouthy. Also we've seen in the past there's a language barrier with people who don't speak English as their primary language. Many times, their comments are misconstrued, misinterpreted, etc.

You are correct! But, if I were Stefanos, I will quietly tell Patrick to tone down a little bit with the comments. One thing Stefanos does not want is to have one of his “coaches” (Patrick is not his official coach, but he did went to Patrick’s Academy) create comments whether it’s intentional or misinterpreted. Let the game do the talking…

I'm not sure where Mourataglou wants to put his efforts right now, but he's clearly trying to shake things up.

It's not about language barrier. Mouratoglou knows what he wants to say and he surely also has social media people. Is he pushing his academy? He does seem to be all over the place right now.

Yes he does know what he wants to say most times. That doesn't make what he wants to say the bible. If he has social media people and PR folks, they are not doing a great job. Like you said, he's all over the place right now. How could a team be advising him to say most of this stuff. Personally, I just think this is Patrick being Patrick. Serena is not playing right now. He didn't have a ton going on, he was scouting someone new to work with and he is mouthy by nature.
