El Dude said:Not really, but AO was pretty slow and there is more room for upsets in best-of-threes, so if Grigor comes out strong, he could sneak it by Rafa.
Of course I highly doubt it will happen, but should be interesting.

Andy has a good chance of going down to Tommy Robredo in his opening match.

AO was slow? I don't think so.
Now, Grigor isn't playing that well so i don't expect problems for Rafa. But easier than Cilic on clay? Come on ...GameSetAndMath said:Grigor is no way near his AO form. Hence, I would say Rafa has easiest QF opponent. Novak has the toughest QF opponent and others are in the middle.

You answered your own question. Cilic would not reach QF and so he is not the one to be compared with.

OK, Berdych then. I'm not convinced Berdych would be a tougher QF opponent than Dimitrov. Grigor is more unpredictable, so he could play shockingly, but he also could play extremley well. Berdych hasn't taken a set of Nadal on clay since 2005 ...
GameSetAndMath said:Four of the top 12 missing this tourney: RF, Milos, Kei and Nick. Also, 10 of top 25 missing. While the first number is not unusual, the second number seems unusual to me. Usually, the second tier players don't want to miss this one due to large number of points even though it is non-mandatory.
GameSetAndMath said:Berdych has won 4 matches against Rafa and Grigor just one. Even if you take percentages, Berdych has won 17% of his matches against Rafa compared to 11% by Grigor. Berdych being a Mr. Qf guy, is more likely to be there.
