Kyrgios got close to the Miami final, yes, but almost every player on tour once in a while gets close to something. He´s been on tour for a while and the fact is that the results are not there yet -- at least for the giant hype he gets. He has a monster serve, and gets the results that a monster server with an ok game would get.

People praised him for beating Zverev. Well, Nadal trounced him today.

He got close to beating Federer in Miami, but Miami was surely the tournament he was playing worst (from the ones he won). Berdych got closer to beating him, in fact.

if you are talking about the Miami SEMIS I tell you that according to witness which watch the match from the stands Kyrgios deserved to win because he played better than Roger but he looked very tired and he gave up the match, in one word, for one reason or another he couldn't make it and we'll see when he will

So what 'final or semis' he is talking about?

Yes, I'm talking about Miami and he's saying no, he (Kyrgios) didn't deserve to win. But I stand by saying since he was so close to the final, you should cut him some slack since you claim to not be impressed until he reaches a masters final and he only missed reaching the final by 2 points in the 3rd set TB.

Any upsets expected today? It's hard to see Rafa or Novak falling short of their semifinal argy-bargy. I like Goffin, but anyone whose name gets auto-corrected to "coffin" is DOA in tennis terms. Same way as Thiem's name auto-corrects to spell "Timed Out", Dimitrov becomes "Dummy Who Smiles At Nice Girl, Gets Easy Distracted and Loses Before You Even Realise He Entered The Fricking Tourney," Kyrgios becomes "Couldn't Care Less, Mate," and Federer becomes "FUBAR." :snicker

Nick did look very tired in that match. He'd played a long match the day before, and in the natural course, this affects players, even youngsters.

He got put off by an idiot in the crowd at 5-4 and serving in the final set tiebreak, which upset just as he was addressing the shot. But he did well that day, hopefully doesn't vanish like Grigor for another few months, until a US hards tourney or something, get our hopes up briefly there, then scoot away again til Christmas, or whatever scheduling these kids follow...

Thanks Bro for finally stating that fact..the idiot in the crowd yelled out. Yes ..it's to be expected..every player should expect a bias or at times a hostile crowd at the most crucial part of the match..that being said..as much as I knock Nick for his immature antics on the court, i admire his sportsmanship which at most times is A plus and I think he would've replayed the point if the roles were reversed.

I sent a pm earlier to the Dude and Kskate, I'm not certain you's got it lads, but the site seems to have been hacked. I can't log out, but not only that, I've been able to access various members private areas, without access to pm's, or private details, I have to add.

I've even been shown to have been logged in as other members too.

I would probably recommend that members are careful about logging in. But anyway, I don't know what's ahppening, so maybe it's safe to log in?
