4-1. And Kei throws the racquet down.

I actually think Rafa's going to have a harder time in Barcelona. Stacked top of the draw for a 500.

Maybe... but Thiem-Dimitrov-Nishikori is not a cakewalk. That destruction of Dominic Thiem told you all you needed to know.

Even Rafa said it would be hard to play better than he did v. Thiem.

Nice progress in his comeback for Kei, though. He'll move up to about #22...some 14 points.

Nadal was pretty comfortable throughout other than that very early spell where Nishikori got the first break. Tough to see who's going to get close to him during this clay swing.

When a player plays great his opponent always looks bad, isn’t?

Ok, I see now why they made Monte Carlo a non-mandatory. Seems only fair, I guess. When Rafa retires, they can make it mandatory again.

No one will take him. I'll start watching again in June.

No one is taking him anytime soon. Hopefully there are legit clay courters in the way by 2020 but that'd be the earliest. I don't envision any resistance this year or next. As I said I hope Roger is watching, his career ain't safe yet. He has to keep taking advantage as well, get to 23 or so and then I may be satisfied.

BTW, Baron, @britbox, I like these new player cards you've designed. :good:
Me too. I think they're very colourful, bright, vibrant & effective. I'm loving seeing Britbox's creative & artistic side. :0)

Thought I'd throw open the Shoutbox chat for Monte Carlo if anyone is awake ;)
I was at the coast earlier when everyone was chatting. I don't go everyday as I live inland. It was hot & sunny & I enjoyed myself though it did rain just before I had to go back for the coach.
