^ I liked this irony, pointed out by ESPN.co.uk:

"The world No.1 faced just three break points - all saved - as he routed Denis Istomin 6-1 6-0 in 59 minutes despite receiving a warning for slow play."

Slow play? Sounds like he was making sure people got their money's worth. ;)

How's his serve?

Ralf is showing incredible form here (unpleasant ticks aside). No sign of problems with the back, serving well, getting great depth of shot. Seems focused on collecting the Miami Masters and gain momentum heading into clay season.

Yup, I agree, he looked great allright. The tennis was a joy to watch, as it often is.

The sun is pretty brutal on that one side of the court.

I can't see the match. Is Novak handling the heat well?

He's fine... heat doesn't bother him these days. Nice sportsmanship from Novak. Ball Tommy hit was called out - umpire overruled and called it good - Novak challenged and it was good. Instead of making Tommy replay the point, Novak gives the point to Tommy.

Tommy promptly double faults, but still able to pull out the game. :snigger

I wouldn't say that... he's not really in any trouble. Tommy's serving well. Novak isn't pushing himself too hard on Tommy's service games. Thinking he will up the ante a little bit here at 5-5.
