And Kei is through on his first MP. His serve was the difference maker, but you can't ignore his superb returns either. Kept the pressure on Dimi. Great job!

Some win from Nishikori. He was so solid! Dimitrov wasn't bad, except for losing focus at the close of each set. More to work on, mentally, but he is getting better.

This match was very conclusive to show some of the leaders of the new wave, where do they stand.
Grigor in a word is not soup just yet, mentally still not tough. From a defensive point of view he was very disappointing, let's get real, those serves of Kei were not Pistol like, only very well placed.
Kei on another note, showed a lot of maturity, he has slipped out of the top 20 recently, he will find his was back there, because that is where he really belongs.

A better match from my boy today. A smiling/laughing Lendl in Andy's box.

"Relax. All is good"

What Andy wrote on the camera. Not sure if that was for the fans or the panicking British press.

Didn't watch Dimitrov v Nishikori but had already decided Nishikori would win, which he did. Good win for him.

OK, perhaps folks went a little overboard with the Pete analogy on the serving, but well-placed is still well-earned. (I say this as a Rafa fan.) And yes, Nishikori was the more mature player out there today.

It's still pretty ugly from Seppi. This is a guy who gave Djokovic hell at RG a while back, leading 2 sets to zip playing sublime so he has every ounce of ability to beat Ferrer.

God forbid it should be clean and bold from Ferrer.

Ferrer played Nishikori in exactly the same round in 2013 at Miami and beat him in
straight sets.

But speaking of ugly, I will call a fashion crime on Ferrer's shirt.

Well if Seppi started actually playing to potential you'd likely see Ferrer firing balls at babies in the crowd and pushing all the linespeople :p

Dense volley. Poor execution and should've hit it the other side of the court anyway :/

This is ATP. You might get more response to fashion talk in WTA forums. ;)
But, I cannot guarantee that as well as many of them are also serious about
tennis and don't pay attention to shirts.

I call foul, for many reasons. You mentioned earlier Seppi having a great match over Djokovic some time back. But let's not pretend that Seppi is anything more than a middlingly-talented journeyman who occasionally challenges in the mid-stages of tournaments. You only fancy him because you dislike Ferrer's style of play. And calling out a couple, (and by which I mean two, exactly,) off-color moments from an otherwise very fair and quiet player is cheap.
