The comeback of Ana Konjuh continues she defeats Iga Swiatek (15) 64 26 62....great win Ana!
Iga really has to work on her serve,it let her down in crucial times of the match and btw she did look unhappy during the match.
Ana W 40 UFE 18.
Iga W 27 UFE 21

Good to see Elina Svitolina in winning mode defeating Alexandrova 76(1) 64.Social media reports that Elina and Gael Monfils are back together as a 'couple' again after taking a 'pause' in their relationship (which I read between the lines as a 'break up'..:),maybe that is one of the reasons Elina has found her game again.

Interesting match ups Sunday 28th March,

This will be the third time both players have played each other this month. Jess H2H 2-0 and will be looking for a 'Hat Trick' in Miami

Osaka has a 22 concecutive victories so far this year. This is their first meeting.Osaka has never been past the 3rd round in Miami.

Bianca Andreescu (8) vs Amanda Anisimova (28)
This is their fist meeting.Amanda had a easy straight sets win over Sloane Stephens.Bianca looked a little rusty against qualifer Martincova, especially in the first set, found her range better in the 2nd set, which she won in straight sets.

Garbine Muguruza (12) vs Anna Kalinskaya
Their first meeting.Anna defeated No20 seed Petra Martic in 3 sets.Garbine has a great record so far in 2021,19-4.

Another blow to Karolina Pliskova - third loss to Pegula - in ONE MONTH - when did that happen last. Big Sacha you've work to do building up this disillusioned player

Pegula seems to have Pliskova's number. And Sorribes Tormo is becoming the iron woman of the tour.

Some match between Andreescu and Anisimova. Andreescu struggling but pulled it off. Finished on a big winner. Glad to see her back. Tough loss for AA, who was also playing well.

Gosh that match went for nearly 3 hours, patches in Bianca's play showed the lack of match practice,Bianca pulled through when it mattered. The first meeting between these 2 players,Amanda can match power off the ground of Bianca, overall I feel Bianca has more weapons than Amanda. This match could have gone either way.
Andreescu d Anismova 76(4) 67 (2) 64.
Bianca W20 UFE 42
Amanda 30W UFE 48

Hope that Bianca's back will be okay she will face Garbine next.

Just tuned in to Barty v Azarenka at 6-1, 1-6. Can anyone explain the first 2 sets?

No it was a roller coaster of a match ....Barty wins on her 3MP 61 16 62
I have always said if Vika had a better serve she could have won more tournaments,Barty serve was missing, though once she found it,she dialed in.Ash played way too passive in the 2nd set,and Vika of course took advantage,Ash recomposed herself in the final set.
