Early break to Iga leads 4-2....it has been a battle of holding your serve and returning.Osaka had a shaky service game with DFs and Iga took advantage.Osaka standing up the court on the 2nd serve of Iga,only problem there is that have to quick off the mark to defend the ball and take the return early.
My point about Osaka needed to work on her volleys a dreadful attempt of a volley from Osaka at the net.,though she holds serve
Osaka had ,love 30 on Iga's serve,still could not break back,Iga's 2nd serve is winning points,her first serve percentage is just 42%

Iga needs to work on her 1st serve technique it is a awkward looking
Osaka in the next set needs to get more returns of serves in she had chances in that 1st set.

Not just her serve,it was her return of serve that let her down big time

It was her whole game. She is no match for Iga's game and confidence right now. But I'm glad Naomi has picked up her game. Maybe hearing that someone thought she sucked caused her to kick things into gear, because quite frankly she was sucking. Perhaps they will meet again this year when Naomi has a few more matches under her belt.

Yep, Osaka is usually a good returner and she did have chances especially in the 1st set.Osaka has improved her game she needs more match play
