Well Osaka is now whining about Wozniacki picking Kerber to win over her.She is now losing her mind or her ego has gone through the roof. She is now a pain in the you know what.
I think another visit to her newly found 'therapist' is in order;)

She boring to me and has no business being a professional athelete. Her father failed to strengthen her backbone and he thought the sisters route is easy and forgot the intangibles.

Personally speaking I really cannot see Osaka playing on the tour, for a long time,I will be surprised if she lasts to 30 years old.

I hope that's not true. A walkover might just do her a bit of good.

Just finished watching Ons Jabeur take Kanepi to the wool shed in a good performance 63 60

Not one seed was defeated today, which is a positive

Still there were a couple of withdrawals and a walkover.,which I have already posted on the previous page

16 year old Czech player Linda Fruhvirtova is bidding to become the youngest player into the RD 16 since 2004 she has taken the 1st set 62 over Azarenka (12).I must say the Czech Tennis Federation keeps producing fine tennis players.

I dont know what the hell is going on with Victoria Azarenka at present, she had a melt down at IW,and was in tears
Azarenka has just retired in her match against Linda Fruhvirtova and left the court, she was down in the 2nd set, umpire asked if she wanted to call a physio,Vika just shook the umpires hand and left the court, not saying a word?
I have heard Vika has been troubled by hip problem, still her behavior was not warranted at all.

Linda Fruhvirtova wins by retirement from Azarenka (12) 62 3-0....

This is a statement from Victoria Azarenka regarding her abrupt exit on court today....I am glad she made this statement because I watched in complete horror as she just walked off the court....( I also hope the war in Ukraine has not taken its toll on Vika or the father of her son,who has in the past given her grief and has stopped her from playing on the tour).

"I shouldn't have gone on the court today. The last few weeks have been extremely stressful in my personal life.Last match took so much out of me,but I wanted to play in front of a great audience as they helped me pull through my first match.I wanted to go out there and try but it was a mistake.
I hope to take a break and be able to come back.
I would like to congratulate my opponent and wish her best of luck in this tournament and beginning of her professional career".

She’s a narcissistic drama Queen. What a switcheroo from when she was on the receiving end of ugliness the night she beat Serena. Now she’s an issues-based crybully who craves limelight for herself like a blackhole gobbles 40-watt lightbulbs..

Goodness me Petra I left your match in the 1st set and you were leading 4 -1 to have a shower, you just got through to win a t/break set 76 (5).Okay coming back from down 0-4 Petra fights back and wins in straight sets 76(5) 64!...

Jessica Pegula giving Kalinina a bagel in the 1st set, good to see Jess finding some form in Miami.Oh Kalinina has just retired after the 1st set trying to find out her injury.

2 Ladies Singles Q/finals......Tuesday 29th March,

Belinda Bencic (22) vs WC Daria Saville H2H Saville 2-1, though they have not played in 7 years.
Daria Saville is the first WC to reach the q/finals at the Miami Open since Victoria Azarenka 3 years ago.Daria recently has been playing challenger tournaments.Belinda and Daria have not played each other for 7 years, I feel Bencic has the edge in this match.

Naomi Osaka vs Danielle Collins (9) H2H Osaka 2-0
Collins had a solid win in straights sets over Ons Jabeur and her wish is to get back into the Top 10,she is just outside the Top 10 at present. This will be a tough test for Danielle against Osaka, who has looked impressive in her last couple of matches.I am picking Osaka to win in this match.
