This will be the fourth time they've played since last May,they are practically 'best friends'
I would think Coco hopefully will want to show her best form seeing this is her home state....H2H Gauff 2-1

Sloane Stephens vs Jessica Pegula (16)
These two have met only once that was last year in IW.Jess won that match,though Jess recent form has been flat and Sloane recently won a title in Guadalajara.

Iga Swiatek (2) just needs to win her match against V.Golubic to be ranked the new No 1 player after the Miami tournament ends.

Its a shame that some pros are not able to keep their commitment to this tournament.. when Venus, Serena and Roger was on the Come Up, this was considered by many of the pros to be the 5 Major.

Injuries do happen at times for players at the wrong time,more importantly at big tournaments like Miami

Paula Badosa (5) wins a tight competitive match defeating Bouzkova 75 75....Bouzkova handled herself well and pushed the No 5 seed.
