Zheng is too dense. Out there trying to play hardball w/ Saba. That's why she has a losing record against her. The people who trouble Saba the most are folks who possess variety and can disrupt her rhythm, plus it really helps to hold your serve.

That's become the norm IMO! You have the ball bashing by both men & ladies w/ the elites able to weather the storm of the newcomers! If a player doesn't have a back-up game, there's nothing else that can be done! The top men like Zverev, Tsitsipas, Medvedev, Ruud, & Rublev don't have a back-up game either! As a result, Novak at almost 38 yrs. old is still out-lasting them in rallies that are punishingly long! :astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::fearful-face::yawningface:

Swaitek vs Eala WC on court now, doing their warm up
Toni Nadal is in the stand supporting Eala
One thing I must mention there is no nerves at all from Eala, she is playing her game as if she has been on the tour for a long time :) and she is taking the ball on with real confidence, apparently Swiatek is one of her idols, Eala is playing freely, she has no pressure, unlike Swiatek
Swiatek's fhand hasnt been that reliable in this tournament, her bhand however is making up for it.
SP for Eala she wins the 1st set 62 over Iga in 43 minutes in great fashion! getting on the front foot, going hard and flat into Iga's fhand wing, like other players do with results!
Of course Iga is taking a bathroom break:)

Iga has to address her UFE in the 2nd set, Eala so far is in control of this match, another thing I like about Eala's game she can redirect with ease
she reminds me of Belinda. Another player who redirects w/ ease. But this girl has more pop on the serve and groundies than Bencic.

Iga feeling the pressure, Eala has 2 BPs, that fhand is her undoing
Saves 1 BP with a good serve
Eala breaks back, fhand wide from Iga, 4 all 2nd set

Great bhand from Iga and she breaks for a 5-4 and will serve for the 2nd set, must say that was a poor service game from Eala, just after breaking Iga

Eala breaks Iga serving for the 2nd set back on serve
Wim Fissette Iga's coach says It is all in the legs Iga! which is 100% correct
Though I dont think Iga is liking Wims comments to her, lol!
Iga struggling to get on the returns of Eala serves

Eala wins 62 75 and she defeats 3 GS champions, Ostapenko Keys and now Swaitek!
Incredible Eala well done and well deserved to be in SF of a WTA1000 tournament
A great display of poise and presence from the 19 yo wild card!
Eala will move into 75 in the live rankings!
Eala will play either Raducanu or Pegula in the SFs.

Iga goes into the clay season with big points to defend, quite frankly she is struggling with her overall game, she hasnt won a tournament since RG last year, she will be under more pressure this year,
