Saba and Jess are on court
Saba won the toss and of course elected to serve
Hopefully the rain will stay away cloudy and windy conditions, very high humidity

The wind is a huge factor, both players need to keep their feet moving
Saba broke early though Jess has broken back due to UFE by Saba
Saba is getting bullied on her first serve by Jess presently, actually Saba's 2nd serve percentage is higher than her 1st serve percentage, Jess 2nd serve needs to improve as well
Back on serve 3 all

Saba will serve for the 1st set 5-3 these windy conditions have made it a Topsy Turvy 1st set I being kind when I say that :)
Chances for a 6th break of serve
Saba facing 3 BPs
Saba again will too many UFE and Jess breaks and we have back on serve,
Whoever handles these conditions the best will win
5 games all.
Saba needs to get more out of her 1st serve ASAP
Jess will serve to force a TB for the 1st set 5-6
Great drop shot from Saba able to create that drop shot cross court, great hands and for such a tall player 5ft 11 in, she moves soo well
Fhand is on fire from Saba 3 SP
Breaks to love and wins the 1st set 75

What a fh pass from Jess BP
Saba says no way with a fhand winner of her own
Jess with great quality returning which she has to do all match
Jess with another BP, fhand error from Saba
Saba does play the Big Points well under pressure
Jess with a great angle and catches Saba out
Jess with her 3rd BP and she breaks with a fhand down the line winner

Jess dosent need a 2nd DF in her service game
Saba with BP
Saba breaks straight back and holds 2-1 2nd set
Saba with 2BPs
Good depth and angle from Jess
Saba with 1 BP
Saba again with UFE back to deuce she is her own worst enemy at times over playing her shots
Saba with another BP down the line fh winner
Saba breaks fh winner and leads 3-1
Jess coach is saying use the slice, change the speed of the ball, and height of the ball, give her something different which is 100% correct!
BTW that was the 10th break of serve
Saba 40 to now deuce DF didnt help your cause you need 1st serves
Thats the way the kick serve into Jess bhand wing, see what you can do when your brain is working :)

Saba leads 4-1 2nd set
Both players have struggled with these windy conditions, 10 breaks of serve so far in this match
Jess needs to change things up, though her return game has been good today, she has been getting good angle returns on Saba's serve and getting her out of the court., using slice, change speed of the ball, like her coach has said to her.
Saba leads 5-2 the end line is near, to win her first Miami title and her 8th WTA1000 title

Jesus what a cross court return winner from Saba
A bhand winner down the line from Saba brings up MP
Sabalenka with another bh winner! she does it!

Sabalenka d Pegula 75 62 Well done in tricky conditions to win her 1st Miami title, her 8th WTA1000 title, also her 19th title and winning the title without losing a set!
Jess you never gave up the fight in this match, Saba is a tough player to beat, she is relentless, especially on a hard court.

BTW Sabalenka will have more than 10,500 points in the WTA rankings next week
The only thing from stopping Sabalenka winning the big titles is Sabalenka herself!

I had to go out there was a 6 hour rain delay in their match
Good to see Mirra also play doubles that will only enhance her singles play and also Dina , their biggest title to date.
They paired up this year, won Brisbane WTA, 500, also made the SFs of the AO and will be a new ranking of the No 2 doubles team when the new rankings come out,
