Kyrgios has a much more reliable serve than Nishikori and I expect him to win mostly because of this. Definitely gonna watch it.

Goffin hanging tough against Nole. He's a gritty little player, one of those guys you have to beat; he won't give you anything.

Goffin is definitely making Novak play, novak will feel good if he wins this match, it is no roll over and very worthy of a semis as its going now

Wow, Goffin really blew it with that weak overhead smash. He hit it softly right at Novak.

Most people don't handle a winning opportunity well. I've never understood how you can hit the ball right back to your opponent when the whole court is open.

Novak needs to be pushed more, and Goffin gave him all he could handle. Very entertaining.

I agree, I am very impressed with what I have seen today from Goffin. All he needs is more exposure to big matches

Gofin might have beat anyone else! He played very well and Nole was off a little until that idiotic time violation! That woke him up and there was no doubt the match would be over soon! :cover :puzzled :nono :clap

... and maybe 15lbs, plus an extra 2 to 3 inches in height.

Goffin played truly sickening at times, and was only good in no pressure situations. He was terrified when it mattered most... Regardless of what happened here, two back to back masters SFs is a great result for him.

He's only 69kg / 152lbs at 5' 11" :s That's way too light alright.

Surprised by the scoreline tbh. I went to have my dinner when Goffin was 2-1 up and had BP in Novak's service game and when I came back it was over. He played well to get it that close at least.

Goffin also needs a net game. There were many times Djoke was off balance on the BH side, lunging to get the ball back when he could have gone to net and ended the point.

He did way better than anyone expected. Bravo.

I agree. Nole didn't used to have a net game... it's something that Goffin can develop if he puts his mind to it.

Yup a net game ..i guess i am happy coz i didnt expect this from him, he went toe to toe with novak in baseline rallies and got him out of position so many times. He needs to develop his game more thats for sure, but he has potential, he is not afraid to fight

Ah balls. Didn't have livescorehunter set to GMT + 1. It keeps resetting to +2 so didn't know it had started. Time to watch!

Nick is not handling the pressure moments here. Kei is way more steady than Raonic was. With his groundstrokes he is controlling most of the points.

His serving is also more effective than Raonic's was. :snicker
