Feels like Nick is getting a little bit better from the ground and Roger may be losing a bit of pace. Understandable for the old man playing tons of tennis the last two days

Think Kyrgios might be having a bit of a chat with the ump at the changeover.

This may be the first set between these two that may not go to a TB.

Yeah I reckon you're right though Nostradamus here thought it was gonna be 7-5 6-3 to Roger :snicker

Nah.. You are not close to being a soothsayer but you are no Tignor either

Funny to see Kyrgios bouncing the ball like Novak and right after moving the arms like Raonic before to hit the ball

Btw, anyone who think Monfils isn't as talented a player as Kyrgios is an imbecile.

Couldn't disagree more. Monfils doesn't have a clue how to play which shows a huge lack of grey matter and therefore less talent. Monfils shouldn't play as a pusher with his shot making skills but he does. He's a moron. He tries to rally against Nadal, Murray and Djokovic ffs. He hasn't a clue how to play. He should be trying to play them like the aggressive players who manage to beat them.
Monfils have made it to several grand slams semi or at less on.. There isn't a damn thing that nick can do on the court or with a racket that Gael cant do.. Yes , Gael isn't committed to being a champion but when he wants too he can compete with anyone who ever lived on a court. See, I replied to your post without calling you the As@#ine Mo@on you always are about your bias towards some players

He's way older than Kyrgios who I guarantee will have much better slam results when all is said and done. There are tons of things Monfils can't do such as having the brainpower to realize he should not try to out rally Nadal, Murray or Djokovic. I'm calling him a moron because he could be so much more and his tactics absolutely SUCK. I very much enjoy watching him play when he does it the way he should, that is using his great shot making skills and ability to hit blazing fast winners. But he hardly ever does that. So moron it is. A guy with great aggressive skills should not play like a pusher. And if he's so supremely talented why is he tanking matches so often? Surely a talented guy wouldn't do that, he'd win them and have the grey matter to know how to play and that means NOT pushing the ball.

Very impressed with Kyrgios. On a purely tennis level, I really want to see him play Nadal - that would be a very interest match.

Not with any regularity. I mean, if you're talking about pure skills that a player is able to capture very rarely, then we should include a ton of players. But Kyrgios is a far greater server on a serve by serve basis.

Front. Gael has not been smart about being a champion and he wasted his talent.. unlike Safin who also wasted his talent but did win a couple of slams and make a few finals

Fed and most players have said that Gael is the most talented player they ever faced but not the best

Anyone who has said that needs to rethink things more clearly. Edited to make it clearer. I was replying to the bolded part. Even just off the top of my head, Nalbandian was clearly more talented than Monfils and also reached a slam final and made monkeys out of Federer, Djokovic and Nadal at 2 big masters tournaments in 2007.

Think Kyrgios might be having a bit of a chat with the ump at the changeover.

He's been taking 28 seconds on average, he clearly deserved a warning and Mo apparently gave him a gentle warning during the changeover before that.

Gael has "Frenchitis." If you look at most top French players over the last decade or so, so many of them are either under-archievers or chokers or some combination of both: Monfils, Gasquet, Tsonga, Paire, Chardy, Benneteau. We'll see about Pouille.

Yeah, I think he has been told before that too. Mo told him to get to the baseline quicker earlier on.
