Tuned into the last ladies night match Rybakina v Poots, Rybakina 63 1st set
Actually Poots is winning her serve easier that Rybakina in the 2nd set, would you believe? she is the mirror opposite to Rybakina game wise
Poots trying to move Rybakina around the court, good thinking, though in doing that you take risks and also UFE arise
Rybakna has 2BPs
Rybakina with a fhand winner down the line and she breaks and leads 4-3
Rybakina consolidates leads 5-3
Rybakina has 1MP with a great return she has really upped her level in the last couple of games
Rybakina has her 2 MP
In the end it was a straight forward match for Rybakina, as Poots is a tricky player at the best of times, also coming from the final at IW there is a new surface
Rybakina d Putintseva 63 63

Fran Jones retired in her match v Pegula, Jones had an inhaler at the change of ends.
Pegula advances, she was playing at a high level for most of the match no matter what was going on with Jones
Pegula 61 3-0

18 yo American Iva Jovic No 18 seed, out played Badosa 62 61

Currently watching young Q Aussie Talia Gibson who made the QFs at IW play against Osaka, so far she is holding her own 5 all 1st set
Gibson broke the serve of Osaka and won the 1st set 75
Talia broke Osaka in her first service game of the 2nd set and continues to hold her service games well
Gibson 5-3 2nd set
Gibson will serve for the match leading 5-4
Well done to Talia Gibson defeating Osaka (16) in straight sets 75 64, her serve was solid through out the match
BTW Gibson came through qualifying in Miami without dropping a set.
Gibson will play Jovic next, that will be a interesting match up

After a easy 1st set 61, Mboko struggling a bit in the 2nd set against Zakharova, finds her 1st set and serves out the match 61 75
Vicky will play Andreeva next, they have split 2 meetings so far this year

Eala v Linette match has turned into a battle, Eala 1st set 63, just one break of serve from each player in this match
6 all 2nd set, TB., some great shots and defensive tennis played by both players
Radwanska in Linettes box
Eala playing well in the TB playing aggressive and no UFE
Eala 5-1
Eala has 5 MPs leading 6-1
Eala (31) d Linette 63 76 (1) her fans are going 'nuts"

Parks has to keep moving her legs she cant rely on just bashing the return and waiting for a UFE

Gauff leads 4-1, 3rd set, not playing her best tennis, but she is a fighter and digs deep when it matters

Gauff with 2 BPs and again Parks not moving her feet at the baseline
Good 1st serve from Parks
Gauff with 1 BP
Good transition from Parks from the baseline and survives 2 BPs
Gauff is one of the best athletes in the game that drop shot from Parks, was snuffed out early from Gauff and put away
Gauff with her 3 BP Parks not moving her feet around the ball
Gauff with her 4th BP Parks bhand long
Gauff breaks another long rally, with her fhand wide
Gauff will serve for the match 5-1
Gauff d Parks 36 60 61, well done Gauff won 12 of the last 13 games, despite not having her A game! Gauff digs deep when it mattered.
Parks has to build on her rally tolerance in the future
