I am expecting a huge fine from the ATP in regards to Nick K outbursts during his match against Sinner
His disrespect of Carlos Bernades held no barriers, regardless of 'unsportsmanlike conduct' penalty from Bernades which he had every right to apply for verbal abuse and racquet abuse.
Nick K had not right to call Carlos Bernades....A F king Retard at the end of the match
The tour need to discuss discipline. These kinds of things are happening too often. Take all their prize money for event, and issue a stiff and immediate ban. Players need to learn that they must control themselves on court..

I think at the heart of Kyrgios’ anger is perhaps he doesn’t feel he should have to work as hard to win these matches. He’s fine when he is coasting through and playing well, but when adversity strikes and it calls for more effort and time on the court, that is when he seems to take offense and rage. Tennis is work, sometimes you get the win in straights and other times you have to go the distance.
I'm not sure I agree. Nick gets up big-time against the really top players. But Sinner is just out of the Top 10, so why not expect to work hard for it? Because Sinner is 20, and Nick is almost 27 now? (Does that shock anyone else?) Nick is a complicated character. I wish I'd seen the match, but I don't know what put him off.

With Nick, he could have suddenly have been off by the thought of having to work hard to get back in the match. Or he might have seen a butterfly and tried to remember which comes first, the caterpillar or the butterfly, and the complications drove him nuts..

Still waiting for the 'Spineless ATP" to actually do something, period,at the moment they are just 'enabling' these serial offenders, who keep getting away with abuse towards umpires, ball kids on court.,a fine does nothing, though a suspension does.

It’s really escalating, isn’t it?

Nick is his own worst enemy...things get tough in matches for him he starts to 'act up' I seen it too many times with him, even in juniors

I was thinking of starting a thread for this. It really is getting out of control, and the ATP has done nothing beyond the odd wag of the finger. Chair umpires getting cursed at and threatened, ball kids barely dodging bullets...TBH, I could do with a little more of the old tennis ethic of clutching at the pearls over a rude remark. This is not going to get better, the way the ATP is handling it right now.

Nick would be better for a lack of a better word "served" by getting himself involved with one of the Kardashian chicks like Khloe and continue to be a part time tennis entertainer. He want to be a A listed celebrity but the sport of tennis is too much of an individual sport where fame is based on the being consistent at winning. Too much pressure for him.

Well he can become a doubs specialist like the Bryans did after they tried singles for awhile. That way he will always have a partner on the court and all the pressure doesn't fall on him. Singles is not for everyone.

I think everyone knows at this point that their only meeting was the 5-setter at the USO that Alcaraz won.
