Sign of a mature professional player.

I am very happy that Sinner played better and won the match. He should be the favorite in the QFs...
You know I am a big fan of Sinner, yes he handled himself well,he has always shown good composure on court, which is a great sign, going forward in his career.

I didn't see any of Nick's match...was Sinner so good that he frustrated Nick, or is it just that Nick can only behave for so many matches in a row?

Parting word from Nick K....which sums up he thinks the whole world is against him :)

"Everyone's just the worst".

It's so bizarre! All that ability and it'll do Nick no good in the end! He can take Nadal to the limit but can't keep his mind in the game against an "also-ran" like Sinner with no real weapons! Truly shameful and inexcusable IMO! Ooops, forgot to update Novak's Blog going 363 wks. @ #1!:fearful-face:

Sinner was returning Nick's serve well in the match, also Sinner 1st serve was working well,Sinner did not let Nicks antics throught out the match get to him at all.
Fact that Nick cannot concentrate or behave for a few matches in tournaments.I thought Nick could win this match...after his previous matches in Miami....how wrong was I....

I’m not sure. I only tuned in during the tiebreak, when Nick got the second warning, lost a point, which gave Sinner SP. After losing the set, Kyrgios walked over to his chair and smashed a racket, which prompted the third violation and lose of game. After that, Tennis Channel switched over to Medvedev.

Sinner's not a weakling, but he's not going to beat Novak or Rafa w/ that game! He's has to be in the zone to even come close! Nice solid game!
Give him time, remember he is young, what I do like about him,on court, nothing bothers him, like that antics of Nick K.

I am expecting a huge fine from the ATP in regards to Nick K outbursts during his match against Sinner
His disrespect of Carlos Bernades held no barriers, regardless of 'unsportsmanlike conduct' penalty from Bernades which he had every right to apply for verbal abuse and racquet abuse.
Nick K had not right to call Carlos Bernades....A F king Retard at the end of the match

Didn't see what was wrong with Frances Tiafoe, but one of the Cerundolo's (Francisco) is into the quarters, having never won an ATP match on HCs.

EDIT: They say it was his back that went.

Well done Jannik defeating Nick K 76(3) 63

Nick K can only focus for a couple of matches in tournaments,I must of been delusional thinking Nick K could defeat Sinner,I just went on his previous match and also Sinner's last mat

I didn't see any of Nick's match...was Sinner so good that he frustrated Nick, or is it just that Nick can only behave for so many matches in a row?
Just like a mother who is denial about their demon seed son is how fan of Nick's behavior. Nick's gonna shoot right back to the top of the ATP Villians list. Only Benoit Pairre is the only one who has corrected his behavior.

Don't be too hasty about Paire. Rather than say "he's corrected his behavior, " I'd say the sample size is too small. He's only played 10 matches this year. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I think at the heart of Kyrgios’ anger is perhaps he doesn’t feel he should have to work as hard to win these matches. He’s fine when he is coasting through and playing well, but when adversity strikes and it calls for more effort and time on the court, that is when he seems to take offense and rage. Tennis is work, sometimes you get the win in straights and other times you have to go the distance.
