I am excited to see the Serena vs Sabine match. It should be a fun match up if both play to capability.
Serena will sent a teary eyed Lisicki packing..:popcorn

Have these two played each other after that notorious Wimbledon?

Sabine has some momentum now after doing well in IW and reaching this far in M. She may not win, but she won't go down quietly.

Venus drops the middle set 6-1. She looks gassed. I don't know if she will pull this one out.

Oh Venus! Was hoping for a sisters final. Ah well.

Nope. Venus is too timid when she gets tight. She back peddles when she should move forward and apply pressure.

I would like to congratulate Petko, she has been playing solid tennis so far in the tournament at Miami
Pliskova really has to look at her ongoing playing schedule to me,if not,she will be heading for 'burn out',I understand this is a mandatory tournement, still her ground shots were all over the place.

Congratulations to Carla,it was a strange match,a bagel and then a breadstick in sets 1 and 2,I thought when Venus got the early break in the 3rd set she would go on with it,she played too passive,I must credit Carla,to me her mental focus has improved out of sight, she stayed strong and she deserves her place in the s/final.

I'm always happy to see Petko doing well. I have a soft spot for her wacky ways. She's had such a hard road on tour and it's really amazing how she keeps coming back.

Yea me too I really like her.

Serena please correct your footwork for starters, you appear to have no power at the moment in your legs, too many ufe so far in this match, got a warning for racquet abuse. You had a lead of 3-1,you have let Sabine back in this match.

And again the sun is an issue for her, but she doesn't wear a cap or sun visor. I'll never understand her decision process. :nono

Serena's first serve is off. Way off at times. Without that, this could be a long afternoon.

Sabine is winning and not even going for her big 1st serve. That just shows how bad Serena's movement is that she can't climb on top of these weak serves.

Serena breaks back at 6-5 and we're heading for a breaker
