Vasek is through in straight sets. Well done. :clap

I hope to see JMDP again soon, though.

It's a shame how much the injuries can hurt a great player but I hope to see Delpo playing well soon
Anyway well played by Pospisil, it's going to be intersting his next match

I agree. I checked their head-to-head. He and Dimitrov have played once, last year in Basel, with the Bulgarian winning in straight sets (6-2, 6-2). Grigor should win again, but you never know with him.

I'm glad Coric won. He played a steady, smart third set tiebreak. I have high hopes for him.

I know it is early days for Coric but I really think this guy is going to be a multiple slam winner. Of all the young guys, he's the one who I think has the best chance. He's technically excellent, seems to have a great physique for tennis, and the signs are that he's got it mentally too.

RE: Miami Masters 2015

Good line up - Rafa, Andy and Stan in action, Tsonga's return, Berdych against the talented young Korean, Tomic attempting to follow up on a great IW, plus Young, Smyczek, Querrey, Sock and Krajicek to get the home crowd going - should be a good day! :)

RE: Miami Masters 2015

The way things are with Delpo, as of today, is if you attack the backhand and go to the net, you will win the point. He tried to pass Vasek with slice backhands many times, to no avail...He needs to get over it and hit the double hander.

I did not get to watch the Delpo match as they are actually asking me to work at work these days.
So, can someone who watched the match, please post an update on his play. I know he lost the
match, but that is ok. Is there hope that he will be back to his form or is he going to be forever
handicapped (meaning restricted to onehanded slice back hand only).

I honestly have never heard of Delbonis up until he beat Roger couple years back, but this guy has some serious firepower when he is on. Ugly serve but hey...

The problem is, Delbonis is rarely on. He is ranked 77 and he was up in the top 40. Some of these younger players zoom up then they start fading back when they are supposed to develop.
This was a struggle for both players. Eventually they settle in the mid 100 range and stay there for years to come.

you are being asked to work at work ?..that's just not acceptable.:dodgy:

you should go on strike until normal sneaky tennis watching during work hours activities have been resumed. :devil
